Location was great - not too far from underground stations, theaters, historical sites, and pubs/dining. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds; in room entertainment options could be better (pay movies or option to login to netflix). The only disappointment was the on site breakfast. It was very expensive with no freshly made options (omlette station, etc). Website listed smoothies and other items that were not available. $70 USD for 2 guestspeople.

Ok but no bath iron in room was a tiny travel Iron which makes no sense as it’s already there, no mini bar or water in room however a tray full off silly snacks and a cocktail sachet that you have to make along with crisps and sweets that are hugely overpriced

Very pretty hotel. Staff was exceptional, clean room, comfortable bed. We asked for extra towels and they cleaned the room when housekeeping brought them, even though they werent supposed to (they clean rooms every other day). The hotel was in a great location - 10 minute walk to London Eye and 15 minutes from Buckingham Palace. Many gift shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel

Toilet in room wouldn’t flush properly. Had maintenance check it. Still didn’t work properly. Had maintenance check again. Asked to change rooms. Was moved after second night and the new room was better. Location is nearby so many things - was great for that. Room itself was just OK.

The Grand is overpriced for the quality of the hotel room provided. We stayed in a Standard room and it was small and worn down. We stayed also at a nearby hotel for about the same price, and that hotel, Horseguard, was twice the size and was of higher quality. The staff service was also by far more superior. I’ll never stay at the Grand again.

The room was not as pictured on the booking site. Room was VERY dated and dirty. Dust on all surfaces grout in shower was filthy and toilet did not flush properly. Carpet floor through out was dirty. We had stayed here for 2 nights as an in between for travel otherwise if this was any longer we would have gone to another hotel. Check in process is all self serve, the receptionist was very kind and helpful with helping us get booked in. Just a shame about the room

The perfect location for city-lovers who want to be in the heart of the action! Beautiful lobby and comfortable, well-appointed rooms, larger than you might expect in an affordable location in London. Our room on a high floor was quiet, but outside you are right in Trafalgar Square, steps from Charing Cross station and the National Gallery art museum. Air conditioning was lovely during a hot spell; bathroom and shower were modern and clean. For history lovers, the 18th century is well preserved on nearby Craven Street, including the only extant home of Benjamin Franklin. It's a short walk to the Parliament buildings and many other key sites. No breakfast included but many choices just steps from the hotel. Be prepared for crowds and traffic outside and take any typical precautions to be streetwise against someone who might want to pick your pocket. Generally very safe, just bustling with tourists, cabs, bikes and scooters.
