This was my second visit. The room, like before, was nice and clean. I got a great rate on an executive room, much appreciated. All I would say is that the rooms on level one do look out directly onto customers drinking in the palm court, so privacy is a problem on that floor. Other than that, it was a very nice stay!

Everything including service was great, it was jusy that the rooms seem a little dated for the price, also there were hardly any sockets in the room which was a little annoying.

We were greeted by a lovely receptionist, who knew we had dtayed before, met our request for a high floor and confirmed we had a room upgrade. Excellent! The hotel is beautiful hence our return. Our room was large, clean, warm with comfortable bed and most things ypu would expect from a 5 star except a stocked mini bar. We had lovely drinks in the champagne bar and our waitress was lovely. We had room service, which whilst was expensive, came within the allotted time and was tasty. Unfortunately we had a rude family with young children racing up and down the corridor until gone midnight and the acoustics into the main palm court area are weak so you cant sleep until the dinner service has completed. The last time was stayed we faced the roadwhich was strangely quieter and we didnt have other rude guests disturbing our sleep.
