Great hotel just a few minutes on foot from the tube. The rooms are small but well laid out. The pool and sauna/steam room were excellent, and the hotel bar was a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

Great area to stay in. The hotel was really cute and I like the little patio areas outside the rooms. The only complaint is the room is very dark so bring a vanity mirror or something for makeup.

We loved our stay! Beautiful rooms, kind staff, and family friendly. Kitchen was well stocked and the amenities were fantastic. We also ate at the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. Also close to the train station. Would absolutely stay again!

It was odd that the front desk doesn’t have a phone. If you needed anything you had to send a message and wait for a reply. The hotel was very quaint and in a safe, convenient location. The room was very dark. Dark walls, minimal lighting and very little light from outside. It was bothersome to have to carry the bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner into the shower and keep them on the floor. Almost all hotels these days have them attached to the shower wall. And why no box of tissue in the room???

Wonderful stay, lovely staff

The staff were excellent at The Other House. They were very friendly and professional from check in to check out. We enjoyed the pool after a long day of walking. Amenities that I thought were most useful were the pool, kitchenette, and also the free laundry room. It was immensely helpful to be very close to the Gloucester tube station as it comments to both circle/district and picadilly. If I had to nitpick for areas of improvement: the pillows were very flat. Wish we could have opened a window to allow air flow. The lighting isn’t good if you like to or need to put on make up everyday. The towel warmer didn’t work, but we didn’t ask them to fix it, just something we noticed. We don’t use towel warmers normally, so not a big deal. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

Best Hotel in London

This boutique hotel will make you feel part of a fun functional family. I adored the room, and although it was small, it provided plush comfort and luxury touches. The sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi help you wash the day away and I met lovely people while using these facilities. The staff are 10 out of 10 on every level. A fantastic atmosphere.

The level of personal service was unmatched anywhere. We arrived by taxi and the doorman immediately grabbed our luggage. We were greeted by name at the front desk and taken to our room. Old fashion bell hop. The restaurant served a beautiful English breakfast, and the bar was elegant and worth dressing up for. The pictures of the pool do not do this area justice. So relaxing with a steam room as well. The location was perfect for evening dinner, a Tesco supermarket around the corner and the train was right there. Just wonderful!!! Thanks to the staff we really enjoyed our stay.

You cannot ask for a better location than this hotel. Only 2 minutes from Gloucester station and very close by to many restaurants and cafes. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The reason why I deducted one star is I don't like the layout of the room. It is probably a historic building so I guess the design options could be limited. There is a hallway and kitchenet, with full size refrigerator, oven cook stove and dish washer. If these are what you are looking for, that is fine. But for most tourists who are not cooking, this is a waste of space. The ammenities are also somewhat less than expected. There were no slippers for guests. The Shampoo and soap are placed outside of the shower since there are no racks in the shower to hold them. I ended up placing them on the shower floor. How inconvenient.
