Nice enough hotel

Nice enough hotel in a very good location for all public transport links. Good size restaurant so no queueing for breakfast which was plentiful and well laid out. There’s a hospital nearby so sirens are regular if you are the street side. There’s no AC so sleeping with the window option comes with consequences. The quilt we had smelled and had stains on it but given how warm it was we only used the quilt cover anyway.

Single room was very functionally equipped, roomy, with a gorgeous view over London (7th floor). It seemed new or newly renovated. Staff was efficient and friendly and breakfast was included and sumptuous.

Hotel was extremely noisy, not just outside but also the walls were very thin and you could hear a lot from the other rooms. We had an issue with breakfast which the staff were extremely reluctant to sort, thankfully Expedia was keen to help.

Good location.

Good location. Generally quiet for a large hotel but the hotel machinery can be dronie. Had some issues with electrics but sorted in the end. Room comfort good. Bathroom good. Nice shower gel.

Breakfast was outstanding; a variety of hot foods, coffee and tea choices, veggies and fruits, etc. Atrium restaurant was very convenient for hungry guests, too. The hotel is ok, great location. The room is tight for 3 people. The bathroom is also tight and untidy since the water from the shower will definitely make the floor wet. The separate toilet is very unhygienic since you have to wash hands in the bathroom. The hotel is old and needs updating particularly the lobby furnishings. The fromt desk staff are helpful and friendly.

This hotel is a quick walk to the Russel Square tube stop. There are some dining options nearby. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are larger than many London rooms, but they do not have air conditioning. The hotel did provide a plug in fan, which was necessary since it was unusually warm for early September.

Overall we had a good stay at the president hotel. My only feedback, which is not a knock against the hotel, but rather just a heads up to other guests, is that depending on which side of the hotel you are on, it can get very loud outside at night. Our room was facing one of the roads and due to no AC (not an issue, we understand lots of places are like that) we left our window open. But even with the window closed, it got super loud at night with people on the street, cars/mopeds going by. Again, not a knock against the hotel, but just a heads up. Also, the shower had a half-door which led to the bathroom floor getting soaked
