This is a very cool hotel in a great neighborhood filled with pubs, shops, restaurants and gardens. The hotel is on a bus line and a short walk from Richmond Station, allowing access to all of London.

There was an issue on arrival with the room requested not being available, however this was dealt with by the member of staff on duty at reception in a pleasant and courteous maner,with the offer of two alternative rooms and complimentary breakfast. Everything about this hotel is of a very high standard including the cleanliness, and room facilities. The staff throughout are pleasant and helpful,nothing is too much trouble. It was excellent customer service and we highly reccomend the Selywn.

Friendly, welcoming, accommodating and helpful staff. Great location - and with parking. Lovely room - great light in the bathroom. Shame there wasn’t a safe in the room but no big deal. A very pleasant and comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

The hotel has a very high standard of decor and service. Staff are very professional and attentive. Location couldnt be better as only a 10 minuite walk to the heart of Richmond. My room, 403 , is on the small side with a very small bathroom. You need to be we organised with your belongings. Being at the front of the property on a busy road it was well insulated and hardly heard the traffic, which was a plus. Pre booking a parking space is a must but it states "free parking" on advertising but its not ! £20 per day. Overall our stay was pleasurable and we would inquire for a larger room next time. We would definitely recommend this boutique hotel

While realistically we know what one can expect at 150 or so a night in London today, having seen so many positive reviews and having booked a ‘luxury’ room we expected a bit more from this one. The room was only just large enough for the double bed and with nothing apparent to set it apart - so much so we were left wondering if we'd been put in a standard room by mistake. Clean overall, a little dusty. The drinking glasses smudged so we had to wash them again. Staff were nice. Good breakfast (though no English breakfast). Certainly a nice place to stay but not so nice that it'd be worth going out the way to stay in Richmond for.

Fantastic decor and customer service. Car park is limited and some spaces very small. We booked “a Selwyn” room which is said to be bigger but is still a very small room with no safe. Breakfast was fantastic with wide choice of good quality ingredients.

We'll be there again in summer!

Really nice hotel, clean, the location is fantastic! The customer service is outstanding, lovely breakfast and coffe machine in the room 😍. Things to improve but not a reason for not staying in this hotel again. 1. The (cheapest) room is very small for 2 people, we'll pay the little extra for the extra space next time. 2. The parking have an additional cost even though the actual parking lot is in the property. (Cheaper than NCPC!)

Super cute boutique hotel within easy tube ride to Kew Gardens and car ride to Hampton Court Palace. Close walk down to the Thames and the Green. Lots of restaurants, pubs and shopping too. Wonderful breakfast that came with the room rate. Friendly staff as well!
