Comfort, the room felt homely, coffee (pod) and tea making facilities with chocolate on arrival was a lovely touch. Attention to the environment i.e option to keep linen without changing daily. Clean room and appropriate temperature in the room. Privacy and it was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for the umbrella at 0620 in the morning when I couldn't open the umbrella stand. Thanks to the receptionist who greeted me on arrival, wet and cold, and the women who answered my querry about using the vouchers for breakfast 'T

overall good hotel in very central location, hard to beat where it's located. Breakfast was generic, no unique offerings. The conditions of hallways could be better, saw leaks and some unusual smells, but the 5th floor was much better. It's been renovated to be like a generic business hotel, not a unique property as it's advertised. Think of a Sheraton in a mid-range market and it's very similar. Generic design and nothing local.

Clean room (classic double) but very small with one side of the bed pushed against the wall. Excellent breakfast with good service. Bar very expensive £26 for a G&T and small bottle of lemonade. Overall very good and excellent location.

Room was spacious and clean. Super comfortable bed! Lovely shower. One thing that could be improved- there wasn’t an electric socket close to the mirror, so difficult to use the hairdryer.

Strand palace is in the heart of the theatre district. Multiple theatres are in walking distance. Convent garden, is a stones throw away with plenty of eateries locally, and two restaurants within the hotel to choose from. Breakfast has ample choice from cooked to continental. The staff were approachable and friendly always greeting you with a smile. The room itself was clean, spacious and perfect for us and had black out shutters. The hotel has a well equipped gym. Will definitely stay again.

Clean room, staff was amazing, breakfast was good. I wanted to rate it higher but I was on the 8th floor and was still kept up from the noise. The light was also shining through the bathroom window and no way to block it. When I got there the windows were all open. I shut them before turning in for the night and was woken at 3am by a TERRIBLE sewage odor. I had to open up the windows again just to air it out. Not sure if it was just that room but it would def make me think twice before booking again
