Stayed in a single solo room which was compact and had everything that I needed. Bed was very comfy, coffee machine worked and there were some teas/coffee. Shower worked a treat. There was even a table and chair which was really nice. Location is great though busy due to being near theatres so ideal for such events. Had room service and it's £5 to deliver to room. Liked that it had a bar of chocolate and refillable water bottle in room. Water machine was near room was extremely handy. Minor dislikes were when calling reception a few times there was no one picked up and when had asked a room cleaning staff member to replenish tea/coffee it was acknowledge but wasn't actually done. Apart from that great stay and helpful staff.

This is my 4th time staying at The Strand Palace, London and one of my best stays. This time we got a lovely room on the 6th floor. The lay out was functionable, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Check in was excellent, The staff were lovely especially Bima and Mohammmad. Great stay!

When Checking in I let staff know that my partner was going to be arriving separately and that he would need someone to check him into my room and give him a key. I was told that would be fine however he was left outside the hotel in the middle of the night and they refused to let him in. I had to go down and let him in disrupting my experience and evening.

Pros Location, very comfy bed, reasonably priced, lovely service from the doorman and the man who took my bag to storage, great room amenities Cons Super noisy with loud music playing until around midnight which kept me awake but I’m unsure where it was coming from, rude and not very understanding service from the woman on the check in desk
