Comfort, the room felt homely, coffee (pod) and tea making facilities with chocolate on arrival was a lovely touch. Attention to the environment i.e option to keep linen without changing daily. Clean room and appropriate temperature in the room. Privacy and it was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for the umbrella at 0620 in the morning when I couldn't open the umbrella stand. Thanks to the receptionist who greeted me on arrival, wet and cold, and the women who answered my querry about using the vouchers for breakfast 'T

My wife and I stayed for five nights from 14-19 November. Everything about our stay was brilliant, from the initial welcome by the concierge Anthony, the wonderful check-in staff and the housekeeping team, we could not fault it. I am a wheelchair user and the hotel exceeded my expectations considerably. Our room (169) was huge, appropriately adapted and clean. The quality of the breakfast and dinner was very high with service to match. Staff seemed to go to any length to ensure our experience was positive and they succeeded in that. I doubt there can be a more centrally located hotel if it is theatres and the landmarks of London you are looking for. We will definitely return should my health permit.

Room was great value. Lovely helpful staff, the food was delicious as well. Perfect location for theaters but also good location for exploring London. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be returning in the future.

Hotel is too large for single travellers. You tend to drown in the crowd. Elevators could be adjusted to also serve lower floors and not always go to the very top floor to pick up people. The current way means that it is close to impossible to get down with your luggage at peak hours. Changing this only requires a small adjustment of the elevator system.

Everything was as I had expected, it is a reliable, comfortable, hotel. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is the best you'll find anywhere for quality and variety. It is my first choice for a stay in London, the location is ideal for seeing many of the main sights on foot, and of course has plenty of public transport. It's close proximity to Covent Garden, and the Opera House, is a real bonus too. I highly recommend the Strand Palace Hotel.
