The person on reception when we first arrived was friendly and helpful, great service. I was surprised that 2 of 3 of our booked rooms were ready when we arrived - that's very rare especially in London. The location of the hotel is fab for the West end, but also Shoreditch etc. Check in and out both very efficient. The room had lovely big towels, and I loved that there was drinking water available on every floor and in the rooms.

A warning for those looking at the rooftop rooms with those lovely looking baths on the terraces. They only run cold water (apparently for a cold plunge, ice bath kind of thing) but is absolutely not what you expect when you book those rooms. I'd imagined a lovely bubble bath under the stars, as I reckon anyone would.

I really like this place. Nice rooms, decent price, eco-friendly approach to water and coffee, plus soap etc. theyve followed the minimal use of single use plastic approach. Perfectly placed for me - for the airport (lizzie line to heathrow), trains 1 stop from St Pancras and 1 stop for me from work (farringdon being on Thameslink, lizzie line plus the tube is abs ideal). Easy to get to the river for a good round-trip run and great pubs and restos around. Nuff said

Good size room for central London and access to tea/coffee and water. Downside was the cleaner walking in at 9.30am without knocking as I was getting out of the shower and the hotel ringing my mobile at 2.30am for no reason
