We had a great stay at this new apart-hotel in a quiet yet up and coming area of London! Staff was very nice and accommodating allowing us to check in early. Our room was small but clean and had everything we could need. We especially loved the large 12th floor common area and gym. Great views of new towers being built and Canary Wharf in general from the rooftop patio. 5-10 minute walk to the Tube. We also loved the really nice restaurants nearby. 10/10!

Great location!

We had a brilliant stay at Vertus for a weekend when we were attending a festival at the O2. It does everything it promises! The rooms are really well equipped with everything you would need to be self sufficient for a weekend and very high quality. We only dropped on point for the fact that although they are double rooms they seem a little more suited to a solo stay - one bar seat for eating meals and the double bed is a little tight if you are used to a king. we really liked that the windows could be opened for fresh are and the location is quiet. The staff cannot be faulted - they were friendly and helpful 24 hours a day and always there to help. The location is FANTASTIC! We were out of the O2 and back in the room in 18 minutes. It is surrounded by great food places, supermarkets and great parking at Canada Park. We really enjoyed walking along the docks and around the area. We will be back!

We couldn’t have asked for more from our stay at Vertus Edit. The staff were all so friendly and efficient, check in and check out was quick and easy! The hotel is ideally located in Canary Wharf, less than a 5 minute walk from the tube station and was a perfect base for getting in to London and also the o2 arena was 5 mins on the tube. We stayed in the roomy studio which was a great size and had everything you could need, the rooms are soundproofed and spotless with lovely comfy beds. Canary Wharf felt so safe and clean too, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would very happily stay here again

Excellent Stay

On arrival we were welcomed by a friendly member of staff, check in was smooth. The room was much bigger than anticipated, we booked a little. It was clean and comfortable. We used the oven for breakfast, took a couple minutes to figure it out but once we did breakfast was done in minutes. We did wish there was a fan to cool the room down as once the window is closed it heats up pretty quickly. We will definitely be back.

The property is new and very nice, there is a lot of building work surrounding the hotel which in all fairness was minimal noise and disruption other than the road closures on direct route to the hotel. The room was very small but comfortable. We had the heating off and window open all the time during the 3 days we were there, I would have not wanted to be there during warm weather, if the room had air conditioning we didn’t find it or how to use it. There is no information pack in the rooms. The problem we encountered was the tv didn’t work and the staff were most unhelpful, we reported this 5 times over 3 days and nothing was sorted and only 1 staff member apologised and was friendly (Simon ).

Reception said they would send us WiFi info. Immediately. They Didn’t send it until the end of the first day after being reminded that they hadn’t. I was travelling with valuables so needed a safe. Room had a safe. But didn’t work. Told them on the first night, told me they would fix it. They never did, then when I reminded them; they said I can put my valuables in their safe or change rooms. ( this was in the PM on our last night after waiting a full day to fix it ) The door on the bathroom wasn’t fitted very well, it wouldn’t close smoothly and was very loud when opening and closing. Reception made an awkward comment about how beautiful my fiancée was, and how I should feel very lucky to be with her. Weird and demeaning to myself, as though they believed I was not good enough to be with her. There was a common area with sofas and lovely chairs and rugs on the top floor. Unfortunately there was a leak on the last day that caused the floor to be wet and I stepped in partially with shoes off. The rooftop balcony was lovely. Unfortunately when we went out there just before check out at around 10.30 AM for a coffee they hadn’t cleaned up from the night before as there was glass beer bottles of the furniture and peoples coats from the night before left there making us not want to sit out there with our morning coffee. ( there was no milk in the machine so it was out of service meaning we could not have that morning coffee before leaving. )

I met three different Reception staff during my stay. All were excellent, helpful, & knowledgeable. Loved my room, & all the ammenities. However, my window faced apartments,so kept the blinds half way down. NB. Reception is a small area, & only has one member of staff on each shift. Plan your checkin, & check out times to take this into consideration .

Very clean and new studio apartment, bed super comfortable and good shower, toaster, hob, oven (with integrated microwave) and cutlery etc. Complimentary tea & coffee in the lounge area and room. Great Potential and Great Value

Great location for a hotel with access to three train/metro lines. The hotel is immaculate although there are a few minor teething issues which I fed back to the hotel and I probably had the smallest room that said it did the job and was excellent value. The staff are friendly and rooms clean. I would stay here again.

New build in Canary Wharf. Handy for shops and good transport links. Wished there was parking at the hotel, but it wasn’t too far away. Staff very warm and helpful. The only thing that could have been abit better was TV reception in the room really but we were hardly on the room.
