We stayed in the townhomes. They are across US1 from the rest of the resort which was the only negative I can find. The townhome itself was clean, large, and had a balcony that overlooked the waterway. My kids fished out back on the dock with some kids from other units. It was very nice. The townhome had 3 full bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked. We spent the day at the pool and beach and we kayaked and snorkeled and the kids fished. My husband and kids rode bikes. It was paradise. We can’t wait to go back!

Upon finding out that our engine coolant hose had split, we limped our way into this hotel. This place could not have been nicer. Letting us keep our car until a tow truck could come, let us check out later, and made it such a wonderful experience still despite the circumstances. The staff is wonderful and we could not be more grateful!

PROS: Staff was very helpful. Bikes and kayaks on site can use free of charge. No undisclosed "resort fees". Spacious room. Gorgeous sunset view. Nice restaurant/bar on site. CONS: Room was across the street from the actual resort and had to cross a highway to get there. That is disclosed, but isn't particularly pleasant or relaxing. Noise of the traffic is pretty loud. OVERALL: Would recommend for a night or two on a drive up or down from Miami to Key West, makes a nice halfway point, affordable, good staff, good food, nice to have the bikes and kayaks.

This resort is a hidden GEM to the point that I almost don’t want to write about it because I don’t want everyone to know. We were freestyling it through the keys on our way to key west. After a light snack and cocktail at the Tiki Bar in Islamorada we decided we should find a place to spend the night. A quick search brought up many possibilities. We chose Lime Tree Bay because it looked quaint and quintessential Florida keys. We arrived to find an absolute gem. Clean, updated rooms with the most unbelievable views of the water set in a picture perfect backdrop of sand and water and a gorgeous new easy entry pool with palm trees swaying over the sand everywhere. The staff was incredibly nice and the other bloggers were fun and friendly. Parking is FREE!!!!! There’s a fantastic restaurant/bar right onsite. Shout out to Florida Boy Bar & Grille!!! Great food and drinks. I cannot wait to come back for a week!

The room was clean and updated. For some reason we could hear the traffic all night. Not many dining options with out hoing up to Islamorada (20 minutes north) or down to Marathon (20 minutes south). The water here is beautiful nut no beach to enter the water. The free kayaks and paddle boards were very nice. Staff was Freindly and helpful. The Florida Boy resturaunt only had 1 waitress, but the food was very good. You'll just needvto remind yourself you're on "island time" there was a nice sand area with lounge chairs to catch some sun and they had cornhole boards set up too. I would stay here again.
