The negatives:- We arrived at the property and the hot tub was empty ( even though it stated on our Vrbo booking it was included in the price). After a conversation with the person who runs the site, he got it filled and asked us to pay the 200 pound charge. This was negotiated as we would’ve lost a days use. We paid it and then contacted Vrbo to sort out the refund. It took a while but it was sorted. Then as it was late we sat down for some food, and discovered every knife and fork was left dirty in the dishwasher. The plates in the cupboards were the same and we had to re wash everything. There were a few other issues which I sorted with reception. The property itself, is very spacious and the utility room was very handy. Unfortunately, it’s all a bit tired in places, needs a deep clean, and few repairs here and there. We have definitely stayed in much cleaner pristine properties for less money. Positives:- The area is a beautiful location it’s nice and quiet. The pool area was nice, the hot tubs were treated daily. They have a wood fired pizza van that visited on a Wednesday, and they were amazing. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but don’t think we would return.
