I accidentally booked at the Monterey Park Holiday Inn on the same night that I booked at the Downtown Holiday Inn, It was obviously a computer glitch. They could see that I spent that night at the Downtown Holiday Inn. I never stayed the night at Monterey Park. BUT THEY CHARGED ME THE FULL AMOUNT AND REFUSED TO ISSUE A REFUND. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!

Very quiet and calm hotel. Surrounding areas were mellow. Ralph’s grocery store right new door is great for picking up food for the evening if you aren’t into dining out every day. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Clean rooms. Balcony on third floor was a huge plus and the only one with balconies so highly recommend requesting that floor.

We stayed one night at this property. It was very nice experience. The location is great, we can walk to a lot of Asian restaurant and supermarket. The only thing I can think about to improve is the bathroom shower soap and shampoo quality and water pressure. Other than that, we are very happy our stay.

We stayed here twice because the property is clean with easy parking for a reasonable price. There is also a shopping center next door and lots of other options close by. Jumping on and off the highway is also a breeze!

Thought that breakfast was included, as it usually is at all Holiday Inn Express, but this being "and Suites" is the difference. Still a decent price and didnt overeat like at the HIE.

The front desk staff were very friendly. For parking, the hotel provides you with an access card. The room was cozy and clean. As for the downsides, the hairdryer cord was really too short, and starting around 7 a.m. there were heavy footsteps from the floor above — the sound insulation could be improved

Our family decided to spend Labor Day weekend in San Gabriel valley last minute. We found this hotel still have some available rooms and we were happily surprised. The rooms are clean, they have all the facilities including swimming pool, gym and made to order Cafe. Our only issue is the neighbor next door had their TV on loud all day long until late night. The front desk is nice enough to switch us to a quiet room. Insulation of these rooms can use some improvement. Other than that, everything else worked out perfect.

Great value for your stay

The room is in great condition. Bed is comfortable. Common area is clean however the elevator floor is dirty. (Guessed someone went to the pool and got the floor wet)
