Typical experience for a relatively cheap motel. The walls are a little thin so it's easy for sound to go through. Some sounds can be heard at night through the walls.

Not itchy, hopefully we won't be

Yikes, I hope we weren't ingesting mold spores. I'm not above staying places that are not the best per se. Very rarely do I ever have to leave a negative review. A room smelled like it had mold had been wiped down and repainted. The air conditioning unit made the room muggy and sticky. We actually had to check for bed bugs because everything else seems so questionable. We noticed that it had a mattress cover, and that was good enough for us. Because we were exhausted; so far wee're not itchy, LOL The room had three curtains.Two of the panels were knockoff blackout curtains; the third panel, the center panel was like a thin sheet. We could hear the neighbors next door channel surfing;tose are some pretty thin walls. We normally have a decent experience with this hotel chain, but wow, this one could use some improvement.
