Good value, but could use improvement.

Pretty nice Motel 6, but could use some improvement here and there. The bed was comfortable and the heat and a/c worked good. Fairly clean, except the floor was pretty dirty and needs wet mopping and cleaning, otherwise you'll need your shoes on at all times. Its a decent motel for the price.

Water pipes in bathroom making loud banging noise for several hours. Desk said they would change our room. Suddenly stopped after more than 2 hrs. Started again next morning No reason for this banging noise

The heat did not work it only blew cold air at every temp and it was cold and raining. The mattress was old with indents in it. We both woke up with a horrible back ache instead of feeling refreshed.

I travel a lot with different budgets and my expectations were realistic when I stayed at a motel 6. I’ll start with the great, the staff is super friendly, warm and helpful. The location is also great with lots of options to eat and walk with your pets. But otherwise, this was a pretty terrible stay based on the cleanliness and condition of the motel. When I first arrived there, the bed sheets had hair on them (they changed the sheets after I told them), the bedskirt was extremely dirty with lots of black dirt stains, the air conditioner had a thick layer of dust on the ventilator, the phone line on the floor also had a black layer of dirt, and the shower did not work so I wasn’t able to take a shower in the morning. But the worst part was that even though these are non smoking rooms the rooms had a strongest smell of cigarettes smell. This is super difficult for people with allergies and other respiratory issues. I woke up with my throat irritated from the smell. The staff said that they couldn’t control if people smoke in the room, and this is understandable, but I think the motel should not advertise a smoke free room if the smell is that strong. I think it’s important to give a fair warning for others that might also be sensitive to cigarettes smell. I think overall, the motel probably needs a renovation. Again, the hotel staff was great and the manager tried to help in the morning. I just think the rooms needs a major deep cleaning.
