Very clean and quiet hotel to stay in, only downfall I may say is the room was stuffy, there was no window access. I was hoping to depend on the ac but it was very low. Other than that I’d consider staying here again.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, beautifully decorated with charm and character. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds/furniture are so comfortable! The pool area is great and has a good happy hour offer to boot. Whilst this hotel is not located in the nicest area of hollywood, it is geographically very convenient being near many tourist hotspots. This was, to our surprise, the best hotel we stayed at on our entire california roadtrip.

Shower room problem

There was no shower gel at first, but there were only two bottles of hair shampoo. When I complained, I found out that the body gel was in the room, not the shower room, and was difficult to find.

Run down hotel that looks nice on instagram

Hotel is instagram-friendly and that’s about it. It is filthy if you look around inside and out. Upon checking in, I realized the toilet is so close to the shower that I couldn’t sit down, the bed sheets had hair and dirt on it, the sink was clogged, the shower leaked into the main room, and the shower pump bottles were empty. Additionally, the key cards didn’t work (seemed to be a problem for many) and the surrounding area is terrifying with homeless people lurking outside. I checked out after 2.5 hours and found a nicer hotel.

We come every year to universal studios fright night . We stay in Hollywood / Burbank area. This little hidden jem was just wonderful. Relaxing and Mellon vibe. Good food for breakfast , great coffee. Best of all great bed ❣️🥰

Perfect staycation hotel! Happened to stay here when attending Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, good distance from the hotel. Walkable to Metro station, food and the Hollywood stars.

I work bicoastal in LA, and my company regularly books me at this hotel since it’s right down the street. Overall, the rooms are quiet, which I really appreciate. However, I stay here 12–15 weeks a year, and there are recurring issues that have never been addressed. Every stay, the in-room body wash container is empty on arrival. Towels and coffee pods are often not stocked at check-in, and housekeeping consistently overlooks these details. The rooms are also noticeably dusty, and the floors don’t appear to be vacuumed or mopped between stays. For a property of this standard, I expect a more reliable level of cleanliness and consistency. I hope management can address these issues, because I’d like to continue staying here without the same frustrations each trip.

I have stayed at palihotel before, and loved it. I think this location is cheap for a reason. It’s. Pretty place and the rooms are comfortable. But the overall vibe has shifted from a year ago to now - and the hotel feels like it’s going out of business or something. Many things don’t work anymore, such as the elevator. There no valet now and security is underwhelming and inconsistent. My room felt damp like it has mildew or something and smelled musty. Many small Times in disrepair. I don’t know, will def try a nicer location since I do think the palisociety brand is I great one.

elevator didn't work half the time. I booked queen room with pool view and was told they didn't have this. they put me in the room with a window facing the hallway. the manager next day put me in a king room with balcony

The property itself feels like a motel-version of SoHo House. There are some nice amenities, but do not offset the pretty terrible service. On arrival, no one was there at the front desk; the room (on multiple occasions) wasn't properly cleaned; simple service requests were missed or forgotten. Everything came with a "sorry about that", that felt far from genuine.
