I reserved this hotel through Hotels.com. It sounded nice. A week after I reserve it, I got a message from the hotel saying that the pool is down, the gym is down, the lobby is under construction. When my uber driver pulled up, there was no safe place to pull in to let us off so we stopped on the busy street. A sign said “no pick ups or drop offs.” What?? We made our way inside to the counter and checked in easily. Got to our room and it is a full size. I ordered and paid for a king size. The bed was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable for my husband and I. It is right next to the elevator so we got to hear it run all night long, and under the flight path from the airport so heard planes taking off and landing all night, not very quiet

The check in was easy and our bed was comfortable, I would stay here again. Not a lot of amenities available due to construction, kind of disappointing. But the remodel should look amazing.

First off….The hotel started remodeling construction and closed the facilities (pool and gym) were closed down. They made no offer to have day passes available to use other facilities. A gym was located across the street and they said we could go buy day passes if we wanted. Also the construction noise started at 7 am and was very loud and disruptive. The rooms were incredibly small, no closet, very short shower. The ceilings are 7ft tall in the bathroom, and some idiot designer thought it would be a good idea to put a rain shower head in the shower. The shower-head hung down 8 plus inches from the ceiling and made it very difficult to take a shower as I could not stand under the shower head. The room furnishing looked like it was straight out of Ikea.

I read the reviews and understood there were renovations going on. I booked anyway because of the central location. Let me say the staff were excellent, very helpful, and the attached restaurant very convenient. The renovations are looking good for the future. I had someone access my room without asking to remove the router for wifi changes. I found that very odd. Then something to be mindful of is that there are blackout areas for uber access during events which includes the hotel driveway. I came in on a Sunday night and left on a Friday night, both nights had concerts at the Intuit Dome. The hotel becomes a car park.

The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were excellent. Everything looked clean however it looks like there are some surface spots that need just a little bit more attention, but I would definitely come back and see here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lum however this property has some areas of improvement. The walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors going in & out of their rooms. On a busy Saturday night, it sounds like someone is about to kick down the door. Also the mattress seemed to be one of those beds in a bag. Was not very comfy and the height of the bed is very low. The property is going through some renovations and transitioning to new management. Hopefully they will make more improvements in these areas.

I enjoyed the walking distance to SoFi stadium. The hotel had some construction going on and all amenities were closed. No compensation for the inconvenience.

This property is right next to Intuit Dome and about a 5 minute walk to SoFi Stadium. We had an event at SoFi which is why I booked this hotel because of the proximity. The room was a little small, but not a big deal. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again if I had an event to go to at either Intuit or SoFi. Please note that they are remodeling the lobby and outside of the hotel. I am not sure when plan to complete construction.
