We are sorry that you were not allowed a quite restful night; while the hardwood floors are great for dealing with sand from the beach they can enhance some noises between rooms. Perfect position

We arrived after our long 14hr flight about 4-5 hours before check in and the staff made an effort to get us checked in before the standard check in time. Such great service. We were in just after midday to catch some z's before heading out to grab a meal and drink. Bed was also super comfy - a great relief after a long haul flight. Kudos!

We are the only Venice Beach boardwalk hotel where you step out our front door and on to the sand. We are within walking and bicycling distance to everything including boutique shops and restaurants from Abbott Kinney Blvd to the Santa Monica Pier. Good place for one night transiting in LA by the beach. The suite is very modern, nice bathroom and big shower. Comfortable bed. We didn’t need the kitchen but if we were staying an extra few more days we would have as it was well appointed.

Perfect Position

Awesome apartments with an amazing rooftop. Rooms are clean and quirky. Its positioned right in the thick of Venice Beach. If I ever come back I'll be staying here again .

Boutique style hotel at the beach front

Beach front hotel at Venice, situated more towards the Santa Monica end, and in my opinion, the better end of Venice. Very clean rooms, with a real nice little apartment style kitchen. We ended up staying an extra night, so we had a room at the back of the hotel the first night. The rear entrance door was a little noisy as people came and went, but a great room. Then we had a beach front room with an amazing view over looking the beach and all the colourful sights of Venice. I really liked this hotel!

Hotel could have been nice but..

Hotel was in a good location - right on the boardwalk - however we paid more for the ocean view junior sweet which we weren't able to enjoy. The room is basically an extension of the lobby, so you can hear everyone come and go as well as the staff talking throughout the day. This room is eye-level with the boardwalk so we chose to close the blinds rather than have crowds of people peering into the room. At night the homeless people set up camp to the side of the hotel which adds to the noise too. I'm sure the room would have been relaxing and quite comfortable had it been a level or so up - and not lobby adjacent. Would not recommend junior suit ocean view room.
