We had a 12 night stay at the RIU Palace Dec. 3rd-15th 2025. This is one of the best overall resorts we have stayed at. And we have been to about 20 different resorts in many countries. The staff super friendly and attentive to all your needs. The drinks were all top shelf and perfectly made to your requests. Even had 1 liter bottles of 4 hard liquor in dispensers in your room! Refrigerator in the room was well stocked with beers and soda. Need more you just called room service and they promptly delivered. The view from the resort was beautiful of the bay with whales daily. First time where you didnt need to make a reservation for the specialty dinner restaurants! They were all 1st come 1st served. And we didn't ave an issue getting into any of them. The food was amazing at all of the restaurants and the buffet. Our favorite meal of the days is breakfast and the omelets and options were super fresh! Nightly entertainment was quite enjoyable and well put on by the staff. The Santa Fe RIU next door has 4 nights a week where the Palace tourists were invited to join in their party. And it is a loud party as if you went to the Congo Bongo. 2 pools full of dancers with foam and whole works. We went to the Neon Party and they have a Pink Party and A White Party also. The staff and management is the difference here. The training is amazing from top to bottom. Every single staff member greeted you and went above and beyond to meet your needs and requests.

Pool was enjoyable but there were flies in a central area and insect control for the bees were needed…the hot tub should be hot … My room was clean everyday I felt safe The room service options should be expanded to include a BLT(bacon, lettuce , tomato ) sandwich , fries and pizza I enjoyed the variety of restaurants Entertainment could be a little better Overall I definitely would come back again and stay with you again

First of all found live cockroaches near food, Insects crawling out of shower drain, Noisy in first section so the sent me to orher section that was louder. When i told them where to put me beacause after three days i knew where the quiet areas were. Un willing to compensate me for lack of sleep due to it being loud till about midnight everynight. Ask the staff for a cabana to be comped so that maybe I can get some rest. They told me they couldn’t do that. They could move my room a third time which was ridiculous because nobody was in the eight or 10 cabanas they had. It might’ve been one day I saw one couple using one cabana. There was spider eggs and webs going up the handicap ramp from The ocean to the pool after doing some research. Pretty sure it was a brown widow egg sack. It was round and spiky. I was there with my sister and some friends and they let me know that all of their drinks were watered down. They couldn’t even really get drunk so when I poured out some of the alcohol in my room to smell it, I could tell it wasn’t full strength. overall, I would never go back. I had to double triple check all my clothes and my luggage just to make sure there was no cockroaches or eggs in it. The food was meh at best. The steakhouse they have there served me a 8 ounce fillet that I’ve had better sirloin than the fillet. Pretty sure it was not a fillet. Most of the food was bland and flavorless very disappointing. Bartenders at pool were great. Service was great. Everyone friendly. Food was garbage. They had nice restaurants that look as if food will be great and it’s trash. Options very minimal. Alcohol brands very minimal lots of “well” brands. Pepsi products not very many options on sodas. But you do get what you pay for. Other more expensive resorts have way more options. Overall everything else was GREAT!
