Prope rty was typical 20 year old mexican property. Little long in the tooth. Food prices were unbelievably expensive and food was mediocre. Then add the service fee and add tax. Wow! Nice view and reasonably located. Also the cruise lines have an arrangement to use rhe property and pool so there are transients around while you want to use the facilities.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and every meal felt freshly prepared with care. The location couldn’t be better—convenient, beautiful, and close to everything I needed. The whole experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an all-around fantastic stay. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

We loved it here!!!! The room was MASSIVE! Full kitchen, 2 balconies, 2 bathrooms, both with showers! We did not pay for the all inclusive because we wanted to try the restaurants in the marina & town, but the couple times we did eat at El Tejaban, the food was fantastic! Leilani was the sweetest and most fun entertainment person at the pool every day, we loved her! Would definitely return <3 (& probably pay for the all inclusive next time)

We loved our stay. The staff, the food, the views/location on the ocean are all great. The rooms are dated (doesn't matter for the price), but we had major plumbing issues with the shower in the master bedroom.... no cold water, water spraying out of the faucet handle (cold water).. the maintenance guy came out to fix it twice, but we never really had a decently temperatured shower. Food was excellent! Only 1 restaurant was open + the pool bar, but food was so good. The wait staff was fantastic, remember what we ordered, remembered how we liked our coffee, remembered our room # for billing. Not all of the pool bar guys were as great.. but they were okay. For the price this place can't be beat! Not sure why the pool closes so early... that wasn't cool, but al in all it was a nice stay (again.. for the price).

They upgraded us to a suite with 3 balconies, 2 full bathrooms, a king size bed, kitchette and living area. All with AC, of course. That was awesome and much appreciated. We didn’t like how we couldn’t go next door to the infinity pools at Grand Solmar. Seems like it’s part of the same resort, but it’s not. Also, didn’t like the high-pressure sales tactics for selling me a timeshare, but maybe that’s just part of the Cabo experience. If you hear the word “presentation”, run the other way. Haha. That being said, the resort staff and servers at El Tejaban restaurant were very nice, helpful & courteous. One other thing, Uber pickup isn’t allowed on property, you have to meet them at the gate. However, they are allowed in to drop you off.

Staff was rude and ignored us and our requests. One restaurant open. Bartender was horrible, said ice machine was broken. It wasn't as he was making drinks. Our first night: Bathroom, sliding shower door was missing one of the doors. Water was too hot as we found out there was no cold water. They said they were doing Maintenance. Second night, when we arrived from our excursions we preceded to take showers and again no cold water. We notified them they said they had maintenance working on it. Third night they said the manage was not in and they would send a maintenance worker to check. He arrived and then verified that we had no cold water. Manager showed up 30 min. after and moved us to a different room. We were there from Friday till Monday and only enjoyed one night of a nice shower. 5star hotel I think NOT!

Everything was super smooth. Check-in (free upgrade), bell staff (Juan was great!), rooms were living and bedroom with 2 bathrooms. We had 3 balconies and the views were amazing! The food doesn’t have options but it’s really good food. We stayed at other resorts before and it was trash. Def worth the upgrade! Will def stay here again in couple months when I return 🔥

Had read reviews about the property being a little aged, which was true. But I wasn't bothered by it and felt it added to the charm. The room was clean, nothing was broken and very spacious. Other than a few grouchy waiters at the restaurant, everyone was courteous and professional. **Be aware, if you want to take an Uber or have food delivered, security will not let them past the security gate, so you will need to walk a couple hundred yards down the road to meet them. On a sidenote.......ocean was intense. It is the pacific side and VERY rough, but they have plenty of signs to remind you to stay out of the water. But it was incredible watching the ocean water hitting the rocks and the beach was clean and well manicured.
