Welcome to our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom guest house on a working horse ranch in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Located above the barn, this peaceful retreat is a special place for couples, friends, and families to enjoy the charm of ranch life while staying close to the best of wine country. The property is also just a 15-minute walk to Los Olivos through a beautiful ranch neighborhood.
Start your morning with coffee on the deck, where you can take in beautiful views of the Santa Ynez mountains and watch the horses enjoying their breakfast. Guests may also enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens during their stay, when available.
The home features a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, essential spices, and cooking oils. For your convenience, there is also an in-unit washer and dryer and dishwasher.
The primary bedroom offers a luxurious king bed with high-end linens, a TV for streaming your favorite shows, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower-over-tub. The second bedroom offers a cozy queen bed with premium linens, and a full bathroom is located right across the hall, also with a shower-over-tub. The home also includes a dining room and comfortable family room with another TV for streaming, relaxing, or spending time together.
Outside, you’ll find a private seating area surrounded by the beauty of the ranch — perfect for quiet evenings, BBQing, and stargazing.
This is a working ranch, so you may hear the sounds of horses, chickens, ducks, goats, and daily ranch activity throughout the day. The owners live on-site in the main home and are available to assist with any questions.
Children are welcome. Please note that the home is located upstairs above the barn and does have a staircase. Because this is an active ranch property with animals nearby, children must be closely supervised by an adult at all times, especially when outside.
For guests who would like a more hands-on ranch experience, please message us about seasonal add-on options. Depending on availability and the time of year, these may include meeting the animals, collecting your own eggs, roping lessons, children’s ranch activities, and coming soon, picking vegetables and flowers from your own garden.
Please note:
No pets allowed.
Ranch experiences and animal activities are not automatically included and must be arranged in advance.
Add-on experiences are seasonal and subject to availability.
We hope you enjoy the serenity, beauty, and charm of ranch life during your stay.
