Great place for stay in area

We arrived early and the hotel accomodated us with early chsck it which was great. Yhr stsff as always wete very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and quiet snd we enjoyed our one night stay. The price is very good as well. We had breakfast and the self service food was fresh and couldn't fault a thing. We will definatly stay again in the next vusit over to the area

Hotel quite out of date. The food was very cheap but that was reflected in the quality. Toilet very out of date, carpets have not been changed in years. Staff helpful and polite probably the only positive thing from the hotel. The room was too expensive for the quality of the facilities offered.

Lovely reception/ lobby area welcoming you. All the staff were very friendly. Rooms nicely furnished and bed was comfy. great food options and tasted good.

Hotel was good value for money. Room was clean, bed was massive which was great. Bathroom was clean. Not a massive amount of choice for breakfast but it hit the spot. Some kind of sports event being attended by kids has lead me to give 4 stars, think they should have been together in one part of the hotel rather than spread about as being woken up by teenagers banging on doors at 3am in the morning is not ideal. I could stop at home for that experience. Also to note there isn’t much in the immediate vicinity such as bars/restaurants, only the actual hotel and a nearby pub chain, you should be prepared to travel if you want more choice

Corridor carpets need replacing

The corridor carpets are in a disgusting state (a large number of stains had been cleaned leaving light patches. We were unable to get the subtitles (Captions) on the TV - this is important to us as we are both Deaf. There was no lift - think about elderly people

The hotel was exactly what I needed for a quick one night stay. The rooms were spacious and bright. Bathroom more than adequate. The doors, halls and general communal areas were a bit tired and worn - which detracted from what could easily be a very good hotel. Completed online check out, only to have to go to reception anyway to check out... This process is pointless. Overall - good, would stay again.
