Love the beautiful historical Hotel

Check in was a little difficult the staff was young and more into their own conversations than the guests. We went to our room on the 17th floor and the key didn’t work so back to front desk they gave us new keys same thing they didn’t work. They finally moved us to a new room and then the rest of the trip was great! The hotel is beautiful with beautiful views, great restaurants, the breakfast bar was amazing! We walked around in the evening and it was beautiful! I love the history of the Galt House and would stay there every time I go to Louisville. It has a lot of charm!

The Galt was fantastic -- I wouldn't ever want to stay anywhere else in Louisville! One thing: when we arrived at 11:25 pm, we were told that.all the restaurants were closed. But the next day I discovered that they have Room Service until 1:00.am! Why wouldn't they think to tell us that?

The hotel is very nice and well-maintained. However, the room itself did not provide a microwave and the tv only allowed for cable. It didn't have an option to connect with Bluetooth. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Hated that the pool was closed for the season and there wasnt a microwave in the room, but room service was fast and amazing, the room was HUGE and super clean, everyone was so nice!! Already talking about booking again!!

Hotel was clean the room was clean. They changed out the towels every day made new bed every day I bought one thing I did not like is that I couldn’t control the air conditioning and it was tough to sleep being at 74°. The only complaint I have.
