Property was conveniently located. Staff was short and rude from the start. Front desk did not want to help but giving any direction or answering any questions. Property was a little run down. Roof-top outdoor hang out was in poor condition and needed to be seriously cleaned. Off site parking, not too far away and they validate it

Our room was very noisy from traffic outside. Did not sleep due to the noise. Shuttle service was excellent! The bar and its staff were very friendly and excellent condition. The motel staff was also friendly.

Jay at the front desk was the only thing that made our trip better but unfortunately there was too many issues to be able to get past. The area is horrible, tons of homeless people looking into cars in the parking lot, parking is limited and you get charged $17 a day and if the lot is full, they make you park down the street and validate the ticket but it’s VERY unsafe to walk there at night. And since employees are apparently permitted to park on the premises, it leaves guests paying for parking out of luck. I’d recommend not going to downtown louisville period

Great Location

Location was excellent, a short walk to Whiskey Row and numerous other restaurants, pubs, etc. Keep in mind parking is limited in a small lot adjacent to the property, but a sign in the lobby described a second parking location within a few blocks. Nothing exceptional, but that's not a bad thing, the room met expectations for the price point and location. Recommended, I would stay here again.

I was in Louisville for a conference. The Holiday Inn was a short, pleasant walk from the Convention Center. Everyone was friendly. The room was cozy, quiet, and clean.

Staff were courteous and knowledgeable. We didn’t like the hidden fees like parking and listing fees. Expedia listed as 125 but when reserving it was 145 before taxes and fees. Parking fee should have been disclosed when checking in.

The room was clean and big, parking was right behind the hotel, walking distance to whiskey row and 4th St not the closest but it is walkable, the onsite restaurant isnt a restaurant to me its somene in the basement warming things up, dont bother, parking was 17 bucks a night and not secure but for the weekend it worked

The only thing I didn't like was being able to hear conversations, etc through the door. The single bed rooms are small. Other than that, it's a good place just to sleep for the night.

Overall, a good value, I'll stay here again.

The staff and Facilities of this Holiday Inn are first race. The only reason I don't give them a full five stars is the breakfast food service, though very nice room, needs attention. The value for money and quality of the breakfast needs attention. The only other disadvantage of the hotel, is its proximity to several hospitals which results in the sounds of ambulances not infrequently.

Avoid this place

Despite spending 3 nights, they never cleaned the room. The “breakfast included” is a joke. A restaurant with a cook who messes up simple orders and a server who also mops while serving.
