This is character limited with far less than it takes for this review so I'm leaving much out. This was by far the worst VRBO experience we've ever had. Came to Louisville with another couple to go to Churchill downs, which was great. When we got to the rental, the lock was wonky but after multiple tries we got in. The place is very basically equipped. The faucet in the shower is not attached to the wall. We went to Churchill, returned at 9:30 and the wonky lock would not open. We worked on it for 20 min then I called the host with no response. I messaged him. No response. We worked on the door and over the next 1 1/2hours I called 10x and messaged 10x, no response. Tried the help features on VRBO, no help. At 11:30 we left and got a hotel for the night. In the am we got a real person on VRBO who after 30 min said he had nothing and we should call the police. We went back to the rental and worked on the lock more, no help. A long term Tennant finally saw us and called the landlord (same guy I was calling) who sent a manager who got there the same time as the locksmith we called so we finally got in and got our stuff out. The landlord and manager said things about a refund and covering the hotel but in the 2 weeks we've been back, again multiple messages and calls have been ignored. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GUY. Also, if you have problems you will get no help from VRBO. Good luck.
