Good place to stay, but not accommodating at all

Location was perfect- close to Sanctuary. Hotel was clean, bar staff very friendly. The front desk and staff as a whole were not accommodating nor did they go above and beyond to help. I was there 10 days but they wouldn’t let me have late checkout, I asked for more coffee at front desk and said no, I would have to pay, and since I had to check out, I needed some leftover food heated up but restaurant said no cause they were closed. I hope to come back to Lourdes next year but I will not stay at this hotel.

Great place to stay very close to the church , safe neighborhood, very courteous staff extremely help they even book a taxi for an early morning ride to the station. The breakfast is not worth though . Overall a great experience.

The front desk receptionist was phenomenal. I wish I remembered her name, but the only one I met there that spoke English. She worked with me when somebody had canceled my reservation to rebook, upgraded us because of the hassle, and then let me extend our reservation for another day in the same rooms. She was an absolute godsend! The only bad thing was that the room’s bathroom smelled a little funky when first coming in but went away when we opened the doors for fresh air

Excellent location. Staff was fine. The one thing we thought was a minor irritant was the tufted pillowcases and linens. Some people may like that they are different but we just found them strange feeling, especially on the pillows. The one thing that we did not like was the way they ran the breakfast buffet. Rather than letting you choose your table as is the case at every hotel breakfast we enjoyed over 5 weeks in Europe and many hotels, they had you assigned to a table. We travelled with another couple and they were downstairs a few minutes before us and were shown to one table and when we came we were shown to a table of strangers. We had them put us with our friends but it seemed that it messed up their system. They do cater mostly to bus tours but if someone chooses the buffet, maybe they should ask when registering about preferences or group travel. Otherwise, we would happily stay here again.

The hotel didn't live up to four stars. Small room, tiny shower, a few bugs spotted in the bedroom. The breakfast was pretty expensive, and lots of food choices, but quality the worst of several hotels we have stayed at this trip. Coffee tasted like Nescafe instant.
