Great stay! I came to see the planes land and take off over Maho Beach. The entire staff was courteous and attentive. Although the stand out was Carlos he was only at the Oasis bar one day but remember us the rest of our stay and always asked if there was anything he could do to make it better. May be back to try the Sonesta Ocean Point for the adults only

I have stayed here each year since 2019. Easy parking $10 per night with access 24 hours. They have multiple restaurants on location and even a bar upstairs with burgers, fries until 1am. If you want an all inclusive location this is it. They have the casino in the lobby as well as across the street. I like the daytime activities better in Phillipsburg by the port on the boardwalk as that beach is natural. They dredge Maho each morning and the drop off is pretty severe in my opinion. The rooms are really clean and they just made a private bar/dining area on the 9th floor that has amazing views of the sunset and/or airport. The staff is always friendly and if you need to check in early you can use the amenities while you wait on your room. This is a huge bonus for me as check out time is 11am and my flight usually doesn't depart until 5pm so I can still hang out, eat/drink rather than sitting at the airport.

I stayed here for my 30th birthday. I travel a lot and this was one of the worst resorts I have ever stayed at. My friends and I was eating dinner and literally a roach crawled across my friend plate. Later on that night we had to call maintenance because we had a big roach in our room and we is terrified of roaches but to add salt to injury I had money in my wallet inside my purse on the table. I had just checked my purse to get my lipgloss and closed my Wallet and purse and hid it under other things on the table. We proceeded to go to the pool for a couple hours. When we left our room the room wasn’t cleaned. We came back from the pool the room was cleaned and my money was missing from my wallet. When we made the report the manager was sooo nasty towards us saying it was my fault we didn’t use the safe. As much as i travel I have NEVER used the safe and my things have NEVER been stolen until now. So he was pretty much saying all of our stuff is up for grabs. When i talked to the bigger boss he told me he is aware of the thefts on the resort but they can’t blame the workers because they can get sued. So we don’t matter the people who is paying for this resort and keeping it open. You know it’s thefts happening from your workers and you can’t do nothing about it. I loved Sint Maarteen but this resort will never get my money again. Staff is rude as well.

I always enjoy my stay here and theres a reason why I keep coming back as you can see in the records. The place is spotless from every vicinity in the resort. Some of the best and most respectful staff I have encountered and I have travelled alot around the world. Nothing beats Sonesta Maho. Special Thank you to Cedric, everytime I arrive from the airport and check in, He always makes sure every guest is accommodated in the most modest and respectful way with positive attitude. By far the best of the best. I wanted to kindly ask Sonesta, by now can you please give me 1 night on the house (wink wink). I will keep bringing and promoting more people from around the world to visit as I have before (check the records). Thank you.

I loved everything about this resort. The front desk staff was excellent, especially Enrique. The dining room staff was also friendly. The premise was clean and well-kept. My only complaint is, there seems to be a smell close to the children's camp by the pool area. Overall, it was worth every penny.

This resort is a great option for an all-inclusive. The staff was friendly throughout. Check-in is fast and easy. The bar staff all make good drinks which were not watered down. Huge shoutout to Akeem at the lobby bar who kept us laughing the whole time and became a friend very quickly. He always had our drink ready before we got there and made sure the bar was always clean and stocked. The food was always available throughout the day at the various spots, with the buffett being pretty standard food, but still had a decent variety for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was typical and did not really change each day. The pizza spot had great tasting pies all day and they had multiple toppings ready to go. The afternoon grill by the pool made the best burgers and hot dogs, but the bread is quite thick. The Palms had excellent fish specials that changed each day. The Italian, Asian, and Mexican nightly restaurants were good and everything was fresh. We really had no complaints about any of the food. The cafe makes good coffee and has some good pastries available, but the sandwiches that are available are just giant rolls with a small amount of filling. The rooms and property is very clean and safe. The entertainment is lacking and outside of Chondra the staff did not really care to be there or get people involved. She made the entertainment a lot more fun and made sure we knew when and where things would be. Overall a great option, with some room for improvement.
