A wonderful hotel, where the welcome is as warm as the weather. Villa Maly is a fantastic Boutique hotel, with beautiful rooms and facilities and such a great place to unwind and relax. The hotel is handy and convenient in a central location and walkable or a short taxi trip to the main shops, restaurants and the river. The rooms, whilst slightly smaller than you'd get in a 'modern' hotel are well equipped, clean and very nicely presented. The pool is awesome if you're visiting Luang Prabang when the weather is hot. A quick swim followed by a drink from the bar is the perfect way to wind down and chill out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vila Maly … all the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The property is an oasis of calm, the rooms super comfy and the location handy for everything.

Colonial style hotel with refreshing swimming pool, outdoor restaurant w good food & buffet breakfast. About a 10 minute walk to night market The staff are accommodating & helpful. The bar is nice and well stocked. The rooms have good water pressure and are clean . Overall a pleasant stay at Villa Malay but our room had limitations for electrical & soundproofing I’m sure not every room is the same as this is a popular hotel . Thank you to the staff for making it a nice stay.

Above average hotel for the area.Great pool and bar area. Rooms adequate but the mattress was Asia hard!. Bathroom small but workable. Shower head was high enough(I am 190cm). Breakfast was basic, was included. If not wount purchase. Overall got what I paid for

I enjoyed my stay at the Villa Maly, the staff was extremely courteous and professional. Accommodation was great, loved the old colonial plantation feel and ambiance. Nice breakfast spread as well. Great location and walkable to the night market, early dawn alms giving event, many dining and bar options along the main drag. I’d stay again if I’m visiting LP.
