Hi, we are using Homeaway/VRBO for renters who love the slopes, the outdoors and places like Okemo. We are always open to compromise, specially in order to establish good relations with renters. We only rent to responsible families who are willing to treat this home as it if were their own (or better 😉).

Why is this home perfect for this traveling with kids?
1st- flexible check in and out. (and prices)
2nd- Proximity to town (we know how hard it is to move around with kids).
3rd- Proximity to OKEMO!! (1.8 miles away)
4rd- spacious home with extra play room in the basement.
5th- Safe space, with front lawn where you can monitor the kids while they play outside.

Pros: The house was in a great location for skiing at Okemo. We were about 5-10 minutes and a VERY easy drive to the mountain each day, and you go right through Ludlow so an easy stop at the grocery store. House was well stocked with paper products and the kitchen had some good basics and lots of pots/pans/etc.Cons: The beds are definitely doubles, not queens, which was tight when one person is 6'4". Also, we had to go digging to find washcloths for the bathrooms. I would also recommend bringing an extra blanket, especially if you need to use the basement pull out, it gets very cold down there and the space heater doesn't help that much.Not a positive/negative, just a fact, but in the winter, it would be hard to get in and out of the driveway/street without an SUV. We had freezing rain one night and the driveway was a sheet of ice. Another night we got actual snow and the driveway and road were covered. Not a problem with 4WD, but it could be.

Warm and cozy with perfect location

The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults while skiing at Okemo. Perfect location with an easy 5-10 min drive to the main lodge. There was enough room and privacy for our 3 couples! It was warm and cozy and we truly enjoyed the wood stove! It added so much comfort and ambiance to our stay. We cooked breakfast every morning in a well stocked kitchen and relaxed by the wood stove every evening after a fun day of skiing. Communication with Sergio was seamless and the check in process couldn’t be easier. Sergio also was flexible with our check out time which we really appreciated! I highly recommend Sergio’s lovely home and look forward to returning for future stays. Would love to see it in the fall!!

Great location and house

Property was well maintained and comfortable. Home was clean and well kept. Host was accommodating and answered any questions and concerns immediately. Had a little trouble arriving in dark and winter, but discussed with host and was very nice and supportive. Would recommend and hope to utilize property in future.

Needs Improvements

One of the bathroom faucets was apart when we first entered. We were able to fix it with tools we carry with us. The basement temperature must have been 15 degrees below the rest of the house making the room unusable for pull out couch to be used. The kitchen had no exhaust fan. We realized this when we were preparing chicken piccata for one of our dinners and the smoke alarm went off. The utensils were less than adequate, no pyrex or ceramic ware for roasting in the oven and the hand held can opener didn't work.The beds were represented as queen beds but none of us thought they were.In summary, we have been renting ski houses for over 25 years and this house falls in the bottom third of our rentals.

Great stay close to Okemo

Very nice house very close to Okemo and an easy 30min drive to killington. I admit I was very worried about a snow storm with high winds that might have us snowed in with no power. We had to contact the owner/property manager to get us plowed out and within an hour the driveway was cleared of the 16 inches of snow and off we went to ski Okemo for the day. At no time did we lose power even with 60 MPH winds. The neighbors offered to help us if we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Ludlow House close to Okemo

This is a great house I'm a great location. Close to downtown shops and restaurants, grocery store, and Okemo Mountain Resort. House was clean and well stocked with all the essentials to keep our party comfortable. Beds were comfortable and living room had a wood burning stove for extra heat and comfortable couches to relax on after a day on the slopes. Sergio was attentive and quick to reply to any inquiries/requests. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks Sergio for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Ideally situated comfortable ski getaway

We took a last-minute ski trip and found this ideal property located 5 mins from the Okemo Mountain Resort. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable and spacious. The communication with the property manager was easy, detailed, and prompt. The house is situated on a quiet road, within easy reach of a supermarket, and pleasant for walking. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Fall Foliage

This is a wonderful spot. Everything was as listed. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We spent considerable time indoors socializing and playing cards. Also a great base to explore Vermont. I would like to return in the winter to ski Okemo. (My favorite Vermont ski resort.)

Kitchen drawers were in disarray, stuffed with knives and utensils, making it dangerous to retrieve utensils,( for safety removed and set aside 12 large knives) enough silverware, dishwasher was moldy. Adequate cooking pots and pans. Nice variety of coffee/espresso makers. Bathrooms clean, water pressure good, hot water good. Bedrooms adequate, okay mattresses. Dining/Living room comfortable, 2 couches, dining room table. Access to deck via sliders, great treed view. Wood stove inoperative. Basement pullout couch room very musty and unable to open windows to air out. Plenty of parking, quiet street, close to town. Large garage area with room for storage.

Mountain relaxation
