Timpenspieker - Medieval house on the edge of the historic old town

Our Timpenspieker comes from the 17th Century and served as a storage and residential house for craftsmen over 300 years. In 1996, our previous owners - also craftsmen - acquired the building and renovated it from the ground up. We have made again careful modernization and are now happy about this historic, very cozy gem with excl. Fully equipped in the heart of Lüneburg.
'Timpen', the square with a beech hedge in front of the house with a small playground under old linden trees, and 'Speicher' were the basis for the naming of our gem, the 'Timpenspieker'. It is located directly on the edge of the historic old town of Lüneburg. From here you can stroll in just 5 minutes into the heart of the pedestrian zone - z. For breakfast in one of the cozy street cafes or in one of the museums or for swimming in the 'Salü'.


Trip to Hamburg: Hamburg can be reached by train via the Hanover-Hamburg expressway in just 30 minutes. The Lüneburg station is located on the other side of the old town and can be reached either on foot in about 20 minutes or by bus in 10 minutes.
By car it is also about 30 minutes via the good motorway connection directly into the city center of Hamburg.

Kleines, aber feines Haus

Unser Aufenthalt in Lüneburg war sehr gelungen. Das Häuschen war sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Es machte Spaß, sich dort aufzuhalten. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen war das nicht funktionierende WLAN und das Fernsehen (in dem dafür vorgesehenen Schrank herrschte das totale Chaos, und es gab keine Bedienungsanleitung) Leider kam keiner, um die Schäden zu beheben.

Urig schönes Häuschen, wo es uns an nichts fehlte. Die Treppen sind dem kleinen Haus entsprechend anders als üblich, aber das schlussfolgert man ja auch, wenn man richtig liest ( das altertümliche Haus hat ca. 70 qm auf drei Etagen) . Vor dem Haus ist ein Spielplatz, der natürlich auch zeitweise einen gewissen Lärmpegel mit sich bringt. Während unseres Aufenthalts wurde dieser mit Baugeräten saniert und von den Kindern erobert. Sehr zentral gelegen. Ob Kurpark, Freizeitbad, Altstadt, Supermarkt, Museen, Bahnhof... alles fußläufig erreichbar. Auch die Möglichkeit, das Auto gegen Gebühr bei den Vermietern zu parken ist super. Vermieterin Frau Brüderle ist immer erreichbar und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub, zumal wir auch noch wunderschönes Wetter hatten.

Diese Ferienunterkunft ist für Senioren und Familien mit Kleinkindern nicht geeignet.Diese steilen Treppen, obere wie eine Hühnerleiter, wurde nicht in der Beschreibung erwähnt, sonst hätten wir das Quartier nicht gebucht.Handtücher zum wechseln mußte man erfragen, sowie Ersatz-Toilettenpapier suchen (war im obersten Küchenschrank). Schmutziges Schüsselchen stand im Küchenschrank beim Geschirr. Küchenschränke so hoch, daß kleinere Leute eine Trittleiter benutzen müssen.Das Waschbecken im Bad hat die Größe eines Gäste-WC-Beckens, die Dusche ist auch sehr eng (Dreieckform).Die Lage des Hauses ist gut, da man schnell zu Fuß im Zentrum ist.Leider waren die Außenmöbel nicht gepflegt (Bank müßte mal überholt werden und einen neuen Anstrich bekommen. Blumen waren keine vorhanden, wie auf dem Bild gezeigt, sowie das Strauchwerk benötigt mal einen Schnitt, schade daß dies so vernachlässigt wird.Dann ist der Mietpreis nicht ganz gerechtfertigt.

Traumhaftes Lüneburg

Verlängertes Wochenende in Lüneburg, immer wieder schön. Traumhaftes Wetter und eine zentrale Unterkunft (Logis). Sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Vermieterin. Empfehlenswert Ihr Angebot den eigenen Wagen auf einen gesicherten Parkplatz gegen ein Entgelt abzustellen. Das Ferienhaus liegt am Rande der Altstadt so dass man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann. In dem historischen und schön renovierten Reihenhaus ist alles für den täglichen Gebrauch vorhanden. Vorsicht steile Treppen.Wir kommen gerne wieder.Inge und Reiner aus Dülmen

Das Haus ist super süß und genauso wie beschrieben. Die zimmer ausreichend für 4 Person mit Hund (Labrador) die Treppen ist unser Hund nur 1x gelaufen da diese sehr steil sind. Es ist alles da, Spülmaschinentabs, Seife, genügend Gläser, Tasseb, Teller, Besteck. Es hat alles super Bei Frahen was die Vermieterin immer .Gerne wieser!errwichbar oder hfepasst

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, da wir immer schnell aus der Stadt zur Wohnung zurück kommen konnten. Das war für unseren Urlaub mit zwei Babies besonders wichtig. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Therme sind innerhalb von 10 Minuten Fußweg gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man für ein paar Tage verreisen benötigt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Einziger nachteiliger Punkt für unseren Aufenthalt war die Hellhörigkeit im Haus, da das Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett unter dem Dach keine eigene Tür hat und man Gespräche aus der Wohnküche gut mithören konnte. Zudem klacken die Türen und die Spülung ist so zu hören, als wäre man direkt nebenan und nicht darüber. Ansonsten lauschig und schön eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation war einfach und verlässlich.

Gut gelegen am Rande der Altstadt, Auto braucht man nicht, alles ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Parkplatz nicht weit entfernt auf dem Grundstück der sehr freundlichen Vermieter.
