There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling where i guess the vent fan was suppose to be,the bath tub was dirty and had hair in it. Paint in tub was also peeling. I had to clean it with cleaner and also wear shower shoes. The desk chair was badly peeling, every time someone sat in it some of the leather came off and got on clothes and floor. The carpet was also dirty. The staff was very friendly! Other than those things we had a nice stay

We did not have any heat in our room and me & my family are all sick due to that. I reached out to the front desk around 10pm and no one responded. I again reached out at 1am and told them about the heat and the fact that there were roaches in our room. They said they could switch our room and when I told them I wasn’t going to wake my entire family up (including a toddler & 2 infants) & pack up everything that we had with us (which was a lot as we were staying for 4 days) they were confused as to why. With the issues with the heat & ROACHES, I was completely unsatisfied and disgusted with the experience. We usually always stayed at this hotel however we NEVER will again. The rooms are disgusting and the hotel itself has gone downhill year after year.

Room was stuffy and smelly, perhaps due to the carpet on the floor. Pillows on the bed was small and square like pillows for a sofa. Staff was friendly, but I would not stay there again.

It has bugs & Expedia does not honor you getting a refund because the property is denying the refund. Traveling with 4 kids & got to the room & it had 3 bugs. 2 in bathroom 1 in the bed area. Your butt will be itching by time you leave this hotel.

Definitely wouldn’t book here again. Carpet all throughout the hotel & rooms which had dark stains. Looks dirty. 1 room had looked like a dried blood stain on the sheets. Moved rooms to a room that smelled like smoke when I originally booked a nonsmoking room. Light breakfast was available.

The room is defiinitely neglected. The bathroom was disgusting- tub not clean, vents full of stuff, floor in bathroom in corners caked with dirt and dirt on floor around toilet. Shower curtain mildewed. The outside of tun and all walls need a deep scrub. You cam tell the ealls have mot wiped off in a long time. The pool has been closed for 2 years. This is false advertising. The pictures must be from a different hotel. After seeing the bathroom- we could not eat there. If thats how bathroom looks i can only imagine how the food prep area looks. I stay at country Inn and suites but after this… I womt ne staying with CI&S again. This really needs to be corrected. I think we were the only ones in the hotel. There were no cars in parking lot😱😳

We booked two rooms for an overnight stay. The front desk staff were very pleasant and enjoyable. Check in was quick and efficient. The lobby was beautiful and appears to be newly remodeled and maintained. The halls have an “old” odor, but it feels like they are in the process of remodeling if not maybe the carpets should be cleaned. One of our rooms had a toilet issue, so we called and the situation was quickly addressed. She came with keys (cards) in hand to move us to another room if necessary. It was necessary. Unfortunately, the rest of our group had to go to another floor bc the floor was booked. Odd because there weren’t many cars at all. The rooms were clean, the ac worked amazing. The hot water in the shower was nonexistent. Do better! ha ha. The beds were firm and pillows soft. Breakfast was available, but we passed. Check out was easy. Oh, and parking was great. Easy access to restaurants. Price was fair for the accommodation and I’m a hotel snob. We would definitely stay here again with the good and not so good of this experience. Perfect distance from Lumbee POW WOW if you are going there.
