Beautiful country hide sway

Top to bottom a wonderful place. Right on the river and the bed amazing. Food and hostess so friendly and guest so quiet. A peaceful place to relax. We will stay there every time we come through. Know that the town before it is old and mostly abandoned but keep going to this beautiful oasis.

I’ve stayed here with my boyfriend twice and it was lovely both times. Donna is very flexible with breakfast plans and check-in times if needed. The location is quiet enough to not hear cars rushing by but close enough to Shenandoah National Park to be an easy drive.

The house and deck had gorgeous views of the river and mountains. It was peaceful and relaxing. Donna, the owner, was very accommodating, sociable and offered us access to the entire home with use of the kitchen, fireplace, outdoor fire pit and outside deck areas. Breakfast was also excellent! This B&B was a great find. The house was out of the beaten path which made it perfect. A river at the bottom of the hill with a porch overlooking it was peaceful. A cow pasture was close by. The owner was lovely and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious and all homemade. Will refer to friends who live nearby and when in area again, we will definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful place. The guest house was built in 2000 or so but looks like an old log cabin. Beautiful wood floors, modern bathroom, a kitchen with cathedral ceiling with windows, a piano, and a quiet deck outside to sit and enjoy the quiet. Breakfast was home-cooked and amazing, and the coffee was the best I've had at any place I've stayed (and I travel a lot). Highly recommend.
