A beautiful gite in the heart of Haute Provence.

This is a beautiful gite in a lovely area surrounded by fields and lovely views of the mountains and the hilltop village of Lurs. The owners are very friendly and the gite is brand new and very well-designed, clean and comfortable. Everything being on one floor with three external doors from the loung/kitchen gave a light and airy feel - you could watch the sun rise and sun set! In time, with the planned landscaping of the garden/driveway it will be almost perfect. We had chosen a gite with airconditioning on the HomeAway site but at the moment this hasn't got airconditioning so do double check with the owners if this is a priority for you, it was our only negative. The larger apartment that is attached does appear to have airconditioning. It is a very well positioned gite with good access roads to many places of interest beyond the traditional Provencial towns of western Provence. Walking, cycling, medieval village and town exploring and of course the weather!

Wunderbare Unterkunft!

Francoise und Gilles sind herzliche Gastgeber! Das Ferienhaus in Le Mas des Meras bei Lurs liegt sehr zentral für Ausflüge in die Provence und ist liebevoll und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtet. Wir haben dort eine wunderbare Zeit verbracht und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch! Francoise et Gilles sont des hôtes chaleureux! La maison de vacances au Mas des Meras près de Lurs est très centrale pour les excursions en Provence et est aménagée avec amour et avec tout le nécessaire. Nous y avons passé de merveilleux moments et nous attendons avec impatience une prochaine visite!

Vacances très agréables

Nous avons eu un accueil très agréable. Les propriétaires sont discrets mais disponibles. La maison est belle et très confortable. Le jardin est spacieux et très bien entretenu : séjour parfait. Nous avons envie d'y retourner.

Maison de plein pied avec de la fraîcheur à l intérieur située pas loin de Lurs ou nous voulions aller boire un café mais leur réveil ne sonne pas avant dix heures dommage car la terrasse des cafés offrent une très belle vue On a aussi apprécié la gentillesse des propriétaires Bref très bon séjour

Jederzeit wieder!

Leider mussten wir unseren Urlaub wegen der ansteigenden Zahl der Coronainfektionen in Südfrankreich sofort wieder abbrechen. Alles ging vollkommen unkompliziert. Dennoch bleibt der Eindruck einer sehr gastfreundlichen Familie, die wir sehr gerne und möglichst bald wieder besuchen möchten. Vielen Dank für die zwar sehr kurze, aber überaus schöne Zeit!

Très beau gite

Gite tout neuf, très bien équipé, très propre et bien situé, au calme. Il est tout près du vieux village de Lurs, proche de Forcalquier, de Ganagobie, la Durance ... Les propriétaires, qui habitent juste à côté, sont charmants et à l'écoute. Bravo pour ce gite que nous recommandons chaudement.

Coquette maison tout confort!

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre court séjour dans la maison louée par Gilles et Françoise. La maison est tout confort et on s’y sent comme chez soi dès l’arrivée. Un décor sobre et charmant et un accueil chaleureux de la part des propriétaires font de cet endroit un petit bijou à louer!
