Luxembourg is a charming city
I think the photos fairly represent what is on offer from the apartment. The stairs to the bedroom really are as steep as a ladder so perhaps not suitable for anyone with an infirmity. The bed was very comfy.
What the website photos don't reveal is the rather shabby entrance hall way and vestibule. The stone floor is covered by a red piece of cloth (couldn't call it a proper carpet) which is stuck loosely to the floor with gaffer tape. Not a big deal perhaps but it is a trip hazard which I found out to my cost. I caught my foot on the loose "carpet" and managed to scrape my wrist and elbow on the (beautiful) exposed stone wall.
The "terrace" was very small maybe 1 meter x 2 metres and was grubby. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.
There is plenty of space in the apartment and the stone walls certainly add character. I wouldn't describe it as luxurious but it was comfortable and clean (apart from terrace).
Cooking facilities were excellent.
The apartment is in a beautiful location close to the river with bars and restaurants nearby. It is also a short trip to the old town once you know where the lift is; it's a strenuous walk up if you don't.
