Booked two nights. Cancelled second night with hotel permission due to noise, dirtiness and unsafe experience. Have email confirming cancellation. Checked out at 11am. Was still charged for two nights- hotel suddenly decided in the second day they were NOT going to honor the cancellation. Refused to refund or acknowledge cancellation. $451 per night!

Dirty elevators, floors and walls disgusting. We had to switch 2 rooms because of the mildew smell in one and the musty smell of a dirty person in another. The floors in the bathroom still had prior guests hair, and what looked like boogers on the wall by the toilet. Was not a good experience. We booked through a third party and confirmation said we could cancel and/or change up until 24 hrs before checkin. We tried to change the dates by one day earlier check out. The hotel refused and we still checked out a day earlier.

Dirty floors

It was graduation weekend, so the hotel was very full and busy but they should have prepared for that. The floor in our room was dirty and sticky with something. They texted to ask if we needed anything, but when we responded that the floor was dirty, there was no response. We went to dinner and when we returned we stopped at the desk. They didn’t have any maintenance working and no room to move us to. The desk clerk got a mop and mopped it, but it was still sticky. It also is in need of updating. The carpet in the room was dirty, very worn and torn in one place. It just felt old and dirty. I was very disappointed.

The crew working there is amazing. The interior makes it clear it’s an older place, but it’s well maintained overall. I get VA decided to legalize marijuana, but i didn’t bring my family to be at a the epicenter for marijuana use in a non-smoking facility. It’s not like I was walking down the hall sniffing under the door to see if it was our was not weed one time. It was every day of the 6-day stay so thick it wafted into my room when I walked in. It’s horrible. And they made no effort to do anything about it. If they are going to turn a blind eye to it, that’s their choice. It’s a privately owned business. My choice will be to never stay there again.

Limited Tv channels working during my stay, no local channels. Sink was slow draining. Room cleaned second day garbage left in garbage can. No replacement soap or bathmat.No lotion. Breakfast was bleak. Libby printer not working.Wake-up call not received thank goodness I had a back up plan bc I would have missed my train! This place is not the same.

Overall okay hotel for a night or two. Hotel room definitely has some signs of wear and tear (hole in door, chipped up paint, worn carpet, etc). Lobby area seemed clean.
