This property is in a remote location, accessible by airplane. Guests must arrange flights (surcharge) to the Musiara Airstrip in Masia Mara. Flights are not included in the room rate. Twice daily 45-minute flights (surcharge) to Musiara Airistrip are offered by Governors Aviation from Nairobi Wilson Airport, and once daily from Loldia House. Return flights from Musiara Airstrip (Masai Mara) to Nairobi Wilson Airport are available twice daily. Twice daily 45-minute scheduled flights (surcharge) at 10 AM and 3 PM to Musiara Airstrip from Nairobi Wilson Airport are offered by Air Kenya or Safari Link. Return flights from Musiara Airstrip to Nairobi Wilson Airport are available at 11 AM and 4 PM. Other scheduled flights are also available from other airstrips in Kenya, such as Nanyuki, Samburu, Lewa, Lamu, Malindi, Mombasa, and Ukunda (Diani). Luggage limits for flights is 33 lbs (15 kg) per person. Upon arrival at Musiara Airstrip, guests are transferred via 15-minute SUV ride to the camp.

The Il Moran staff are in a category of their own!

My friends & I left a piece of our hearts at Il Moran Governors Camp. I have traveled the world, 64 countries & counting and have never had such a beautiful & unique experience as I did at Il Moran. The land and animals of the Masai are breathtaking, but the dedication & service of EACH & EVERY employee at Il Moran make Il Moran Governors Camp what it is and exemplify the hard work, love & spirit of the Kenyan people. I will be recommending Il Moran to everyone I know. A tip, when you visit, bring extra cash to tip ALL of the staff at Il Moran because each one will leave an impression on your heart!
