Goede locatie, verdient niet de schoonheidsprijs.

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door Leo. Na zeer enthousiaste tekst en uitleg gekregen te hebben over het hotel en Valkenburg in het algemeen hebben we snel onze spullen naar de kamer gebracht en zijn we weer vertrokken omdat we een reservering in een nabijgelegen restaurant hadden. Na goed getafeld te hebben en een rondje om Valkenburg te hebben gelopen kwamen we weer terug op onze kamer. Na een iets grondigere inspectie van de kamer zagen we dat het niet helemaal schoon was. Er lagen nog kleren op de grond van (waarschijnlijk) de vorige bezoeker. Spinnenwebben tegen de muren, bekers in de badkamer waren niet schoon, er lagen haren op de nachtkastjes, decoraties op de kamer onder een dikke laag stof. De bedden en het beddengoed waren wel goed schoon. We hebben dit ook kenbaar gemaakt bij Leo, die wist even niet zo goed wat hij hiermee aan moest. Daar het bed en beddengoed wel goed schoon was en wij niet echt veel trek hadden in het op zoek moeten naar een ander hotel hebben we toch de nacht in dit hotel doorgebracht. Onze ongemakken werden door Leo de volgende dag gecompenseerd in de vorm van het niet hoeven betalen van de toeristenbelasting. Positief: - Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrije ontvangst. - Lekker ontbijt, voldoende keuze. - Perfecte startlocatie om Valkenburg te verkennen Verbeterpunten: - Schoonmaak!! - Ietwat gedateerd
