Nice balcony view overlooking town and river. The inn is a bit outdated but clean, the staff was nice, and Madison is a nice place for a weekend getaway.

The room was great. The view was nice but comes at the cost of traffic noise on the main street below the hotel. I think the walls of the private balcony funnels the sound of occasional loud mufflers into the room.

The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The young man who cleaned my room found my medications I left and called me right away so I was able to return quickly before I was out of town. I loved this place and will return.

Never had balcony room as i was facing the back of the property. Housekeeping decided to just walk right into my room without knocking or announcing. I left a night early because i feel my privacy was invaded. Was told i wouldnt be charged for the night i didnt stay and would get a new receipt emailed to me.. did not. If i have to go back to Madison i will not be staying there

While an older hotel and not modern, our stay was clean and quiet. Parking can be a little tight since no one seems to park within the lines anymore. The view from the balconies is unmatched. You can see all the way down main street, and at Christmas time, is a beautiful view.

We had a wonderful time in Madison. The hotel is quite charming and the history behind it is so fascinating. There are some minor updates that need to be repaired in Room 104, but overall, it's fine. Merry Christmas!
