Disliked: Cleanliness
When we arrived, the driveway & walkway to the front door were covered in poop. The front door keypad didn’t work due to dead batteries. We contacted the host, who gave us a garage code that also didn’t work. They said they would send someone out. We noticed the garage door release cord already pulled, allowing manual access, which made us believe they were aware the keypad batteries were dead. We went to the store to buy replacement batteries ourselves. It took an hour & a half for someone from the host to arrive, & they never offered batteries or reimbursement.One bed had dirty, crusty spots on the sheets. The host gave us access to a maid closet, but the sheets inside were wadded up & did not appear clean. We washed the sheets ourselves. The comforter also had multiple stains.The living room light & back porch light were out. The backyard had a very large amount of poop throughout the yard. The front railing & laundry door were broken. The shower liner was very dirty with soap scum & old product residue. Towels were heavily stained. Floors appeared vacuumed but were not mopped our feet & socks were black from dirt.The primary bedroom blinds were broken & wouldn’t close. The two front bedrooms had no curtains, & streetlights shined in all night. On the second night, the smoke detector went off repeatedly with a full alarm (not a low-battery chirp), at least 10 times overnight.The neighborhood was loud throughout the night. dogs roamed freely, pooping everywhere.
