The apartment is in a historic building in the heart of Madrid. The building is completely new on the inside with a modern kitchen, bathroom and elevator.
It has 3 windows and overlooks a courtyard because many people prefer quiet evenings. It has a king-size bed and a sofa bed in the living area. The bed is separated from the living area by a beautiful bookcase. I am sure that you will love it!

We had a lovely stay! This was so central to the main highlights of Madrid. Easy walk to so many restaurants. Gorete, the host, is amazing with her communication. The place itself is so clean and the kitchen waa fully equipped. The washer was much needed after a week of travelling. The ad said there is a dryer, but its actually a drying rack. But no big deal, our clothes dried while we were out. The bed was so comfortable and there waa so much closet space to unpack our clothes. We can't wait to come back for another trip! Thank you Gorete for sharing your beautiful home :)

Great central location yet surprisingly quiet. Everything worked smoothly. Only limitation was needing to manage the hot water. Bed was very comfortable, washing machine helpful, and check-in seamless. Close to many excellent attractions.

The location was good. The bed was good. The apartment could have been better designed. It was all one narrow long room with one partition near the bed. The washroom was at one end near the front door and the bedroom was at the other end. Not convenient. The washroom had water damage on the floor from the shower door with did not close properly and should have been replaced long ago. There was a glass shelf on top of the sink over the faucet which impeded washing your face properly and water spreading on the wooded counter. The shelf above the sink in the kitchen smelled rancid. I am wondering why the host charges so much for cleaning...

The property was in great shape and located perfectly so we could walk everywhere in Madrid that we wanted to go. We were very happy with the flat. Just one little suggestion: some of the information in the excellent information guide left by the owners is somewhat out of date. Miranda, the coffee place suggested, is closed now and so is a flamenco place listed. But that is a small thing. We had a great stay overall.

Fantastic Stay!

My wife and I had the most wonderful time in Madrid, and the apartment was so close to everything in the middle of city that we rarely had to use transit. Our host, and concierge were very kind and accommodating (We had a last minute change in our flights and ended up arrive a couple hours early).I cannot say enough good things about our stay and would highly recommended this location for anyone looking to spend time in Madrid.

Perfect location

The flat was perfect and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, location was great for walking and shopping near and in the Plazas. It was an active area with plenty of places to eat and drink very close by, yet it was not noisy at all. The hostess was very helpful prior to our stay yet there was no need to contact her during our stay because we had no issues at all. We intend to book this location again the next time we’re back in Spain!

Perfect Launchpad in Madrid

Ideal location, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to museums, train station, and more tapas bars than you can count. Easy to reach from airport via subway. Owner exceptionally helpful with checkin and tips / instructions. Would recommend highly and would stay here again!

Grete's place was wonderful. It matched the pictures perfectly, was very clean and comfortable for two people. Also, its location makes it a wonderful beginning point to anywhere you need to go in Madrid. We'll stay here again for sure.

Excellent stay in Madrid

We spent 5 days in Madrid. The apartment is well situated and well maintained for a comfortable stay. It is also very quiet despite the active nightlife nearby. The apartment is well equipped and spacious for 2 people. The owner is easy to contact and responds promptly to any query and also sent us some useful literature about Madrid prior to our visit. Just as good as our first stay

Gorete’s apartments in this building are a great home away from home. We stayed here last year and returned again this year. The location is perfect for walking access to all the sites and museums in the center and metro.

Location about perfect

The location of this unit is perfect. Every place seemed about 15-20 minutes walk. Apartment was roomy for a studio, very clean and safe. Only hiccup was the receptionist was not there so we could not get in the building. Be sure you have owner number on WhatsApp and know which button on intercom to press. Also know the name or number of the unit your in. The receptionist speaks almost no English.

Wonderful stay in a great location

We only had two nights in Madrid so this apartment was perfectly located for us as we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. Gorete is a wonderful host and provided lots of recommendations and insights. The place was very clean and we had everything we needed. Even though it’s located on a busy street, it was very quiet. Absolutely wonderful!

Everything was fantastic! Communication was very easy and prompt. We arrived in the early morning and were able to leave our bags at the building. The concierge, Alicia, was very nice and helpful. Short stay in great area

We stayed in this apartment for two days. The host was in communication from the beginning and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is in the second floor and faces a small interior court yard. It had all of the amenities we needed. We did have on evening when a neighbor was noisy late. We were able to dull the noise by turning on a noise app on our iPad. We would stay here again.
