Value value value and location - it's great

I like older wooden buildings and the more authentic Thai experience, so this was a good choice and we were very happy here.
You can use the pool at the nearby sister resort, so this place has all you need.
A very hard bed, but that is my choice, and simple amenities are what to expect. Has a good carpark too, so your hire car or bus will be off street overnight.
Hotel has a good position and nice outlook, my partner is from there so I can vouch its close to many bars cafe's and restaurants.
This whole quaint town is lovely and unspoilt, real Thais live here, not many farang but it's welcoming all around. A few bikers from the Mae Hon Son loop call thru too.
And did I mention value? Everything is pretty much Thai price all over, except beer at bars have a farang price, but in reality when you are having a great Pad Thai (or other dishes) for 40 baht a dish I think you may forgive a 10-20 baht surplus on the beer bill!
I will happily go back again to this hotel and Mae Sariang.
