Great Hotel!

We only stayed for a night but the overall experience was great from check-in to check-out. The pool area needed more day-beds but other than that, loved the whole vibe of the hotel. Our room was cosy & comfortable as well.

We had an incredible stay here, unfortunately it was only for one night before we flew home but wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel is beautiful, the room was stunning and we were even upgraded to a pool room. The food was good but the beach was the absolute highlight for us. One of the best beaches we visited in Thailand. So quiet, untouched and beautiful!

Our stay at Meliá Phuket Mai Khao was truly exceptional. After a very long flight, we were warmly welcomed by Sareena at reception, who did everything possible to ensure we could relax as quickly as possible. Thanks to her efficient service, we were enjoying our private pool in less than an hour. We also had the pleasure of meeting the hotel manager, Luc, who greeted us with delicious Thai tea and refreshments. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. The resort is beautifully designed, with elegant architecture, peaceful koi ponds, two fantastic swimming pools, a pristine beach, and excellent facilities. We especially loved the pool by the beach with direct access to the Gaia restaurant and bar. I also used the gym every day. It was spotless, well air-conditioned, and stocked with towels, drinking water, fresh fruit, and showers. The staff even arrived early every morning—despite heavy tropical rain—to prepare the gym before opening, which perfectly reflected their outstanding dedication and hospitality. The location is ideal, only 12 minutes from Phuket Airport, and convenient for exploring the island by car. Our only minor criticism is that the villas could benefit from better soundproofing. We had a noisy neighbour on our first night, but the hotel staff resolved the issue quickly and professionally. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. We highly recommend Meliá Phuket Mai Khao and look forward to returning.

Amazing property and amenities, the staff were lovely too. The food quality could be slightly better, other hotels in the area of similar price range had better restaurants but other than that the hotel was still amazing, very tranquil and calm place and the layout makes it feel more like a hideaway or sanctuary than just a hotel. And the spa was great too, both the team and the quality of the treatments.
