Great location classic Chinese hotel

Pros: See above
Cons: Hot water in bathroom was inconsistent
Location: Jonker St and town centre were an easy walk as were food outlits
Loved the hotel ,city and helpful staff as well as the breakfast.

Great position but ....

Pros: The room was very clean. TV channels were many...
Location: Location is great..easy walk into Melaka historical area and the river. Lots of good eateries close by...
Was given the worse room in the hotel, I think.. it was opposite the kitchen at the back of the hotel which meant the noise in the morning started early.. I couldn't leave the widow open so couldn't get natural light in the room. I was catching an early morning bus to Singapore so was not going to have time to access the breakfast. I had been assured by the hotel reception staff I could have a meal to take with me. Unfortunately that did not eventuate.. the hotel staff knew nothing of this arrangement. I had even been offered a choice of cheese or tuna filling the day prior?! It is obvious this is a business first and staff were not that friendly.

Comfortable hotel with character and location

Cons: Wifi could be stronger and faster
Charming hotel with friendly service, great location and minutes walk to the best of Meleka's old town. Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms.

Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel clean and friendly great value. Great location, beautifully furnished.
Cons: Couldnt open windows at night due to noise from other air cons.
