A good hotel as a base for a city visit. Walkable distance to the Old City, Marina, Train Station etc. The management has recently changed and they are carrying out improvements to the rooms and restaurant (which was out of action due to building work). The room is ideal for a couple of nights city break. It is basic but clean, tidy and quiet. It has everything we needed (we took our own travel kettle). We liked the location being out of town but everything was easily walkable and we eat in the local restaurant opposite which was amazing. Although the rooms are small everything is well designed to get the most of the limited space. The bathroom set up might not suit everyone.

Good value for 1 night's stay - clean room with good shower and firm bed. Staff at reception courteous, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Only complaint was the air-conditioning system: can't change the settings, default to winter setting still but on the day of our stay it was hot and sunny. So the room was hot! We have to ooen the windows!
