No signs to hotel, no shuttle service to airport

The big downside of our stay was finding the hotel in the first place. We had planned to drop off the rental car the night before so we could get an early flight the next day with no stress. There are seriously no signs to the Holiday Inn Express and the GPS was no help at all. They should put up some more signs and above all they should make it clear that there is no shuttle service and the only way to get to the hotel from the airport (apart from taking a city bus) is by taxi: minimum charge of 20 euros, then 12.50 to get back to the airport (5 minutes away) the next morning. Its proximity was the entire reason we chose this hotel in the first place. The hotel itself was what we expected - fairly crap but clean and polite. Food was cafeteria style but edible.

It is in an industrial estate but it was only to sleep for one night close to the airport so not really a concern. I wouldn't book if travelling alone as it is in a dark place. From the airport the bus drops on the opposite side of the road and then you have to walk over a bridge which crosses the roads and then through a car hire place

I was impressed with the restaurant here. The food was delicious and so much of it. The breakfast was amazing and the two dinners I enjoyed were very impressive. I got the fresh fish both nights. I really enjoyed the cappacino machine and the Napolitan's in the lobby whenever you felt like a treat. The rooms were decent. The bathroom was especially nice with a huge tub and really hot water for relaxing soaks. The property is not especially nice outside and I don't recommend walking around if your a single woman. But I expected that as it's right near the airport. The room was quiet even though it was near the airport. I only heard a plane take off once. That was suprising. The hotel was a stop and rest for me before moving on to a dance camp. I used this stay as a way to refresh and avoid jet lag.

Heck of a place to get too

Very difficult to get to if your going there from the airport.. It's across a duel carriageway and you have to go a long way away from it before you can turn around and come back on other side of the road. Also the bad road going under the by pass to get to it is only found if you use Google maps. Food at hotel was OK..

Hotel located very conveniently to airport (3 minutes away!). Had a nice bar and restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Nothing fancy but perfect for access to airport. Clean and comfortable room.
