Long check in. Came to my room at 10.00 at night to recheck my passport. I booked breakfast and they told me I had done so at check-in but they couldn’t find a record of breakfast booking at restaurant and I gave up arguing and just paid.

The location is great. Great attention is paid to the cleanliness. Not having a kettle in the room is a bit annoying, considering that other Ibis hotels have that.

No Air Con Nov to March

Staff very good. No air conditioning as it is winter - bedroom heat during the night was oppressive. If you open the windows then mosquitoes get in and eat you alive. Should have fly screens on the windows- just not good enough. Minimal insulation between floors and walls. Not a great experience and spoiled an otherwise enjoyable trip.

VFM close to the centre

Apart from an issue checking in this was a great stay. I have stayed here several times before and it’s excellently located for the city. Pillows were a bit thin but that was a minor issue

Good hotel stay

Location was great, staff very friendly and very helpful, priced right and a good option for a budget friendly hotel. My only complaint would be that it can be noisy at night. Street noise, mostly from people singing, talking loud, but this is typical in Spain, no matter where you are located. In all my travels to Spain, I have experienced this. Also, traffic noise starts fairly early in morning, try to get a room facing West, it’s a bit more quiet on that side.

Great low cost stay!

Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Underground parking is convenient and reasonably priced. The room was clean and well equipped. The room was small, but appropriate for the price. The location is really convenient to all the central attractions. Noise outside of the building is my only complaint. I'm not sure there are many hotels that won't have that issue in Malaga with it's active night life.

We liked most things at this Hotel, it would have been nice to have a kettle, so we could make a hot drink in our room, instead of having to go to reception, and then balancing the 2 cups of tea, with the lift doors and needing to place my key card in the slot to let the lift work.
