It’s a resort like property that has everything for families. It is clearly a place that families with young children favour and we could see why. The hotel is beautiful and pretty large. The included breakfast had everything you could wish for and more. The hotel is a about a 1.5 km walk to the city but there is a shuttle you can take during the day. The city nearby, Malcesine is a wonderful vibrant city with tons of little shops. Lake Garda is breath taking and the views from the hotel was incredible.

Nice food and good service

The pool area, lunch and breakfast was amazing and the service was fast and good. When we arrived we were assigned a room under the attic where my boyfriend couldn’t stand up straight. But after talking to the kind and service minded night concierge we had another room. The room was clean but a bit on the older site for a hotel in that price range. But overall a nice stay.

Gute Unterkunft. Etwas in die Jahr gekommen, aber das ist auch Nachhaltigkeit. Alles war top-top sauber und funktionierte auch. Schwimmingpool vorhanden. Dient eher zur Abkühlung. Der Weg zum Zentrum beträgt etwa 1,2 km und zum See ebenso, dort aber auch nur über steile Pfade Insgesamt freundlich empfehlenswert. Ältere dürften dann eher auf den Bus-Shuttle angewiesen sein.

Gode faciliteter, men mad og småbesvær trækker ned

Stort hotel med mange faciliteter. Vi havde et stort værelse med balkon, som var velindrettet og hyggeligt. God aircon i betragtning af meget varmt vejr. Områderne udenfor er velholdte og pæne. Maden på stedet levede dog ikke op til 4 stjerner, da den høje prise ikke svarer til kvaliteten og service. Familie-komforten levede heller ikke op til forventningerne, da man ikke må spise ved poolområderne, det store indendørs legeområde er aflåst en stor del af dagen, trampolinen er aflåst og kræver, at man låner nøglen i receptionen, der ligger et stykke væk, minigolf koster et gebyr og udstyr skal også afhentes i receptionen. Dele af legepladsen var særdeles gammelt.

Schöner Aufenthalt, schöne Garten- und Poolanlage. Zimmer sehr geräumig mit grossem Balkon. Ausstattung im Zimmer sehr in Ordnung, einfach vom Design her nicht mehr ganz aktuell. Riesiges, abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet. 20 Minuten Spaziergang nach Malcesine.

Super 10 dage med skønt værelse helt øverst. Godt pool område og service. Eneste men er: et 4 stjernet hotel hvor der mangler elevator op til øverste etage, istedet var der trapper fra etage nedenunder hvor elevator stoppede. Vi havde ikke noget mod at gå de 2 x 6 trin men det var hårdt at slæbe bagage op da vi kom og ned igen da vi tog hjem.

Short break at Hotel Majestic Palace

The Hotel Majestic is just up the hill from Malcesine and it’s about a 15 minute walk down which we did. We also got the hotel minibus down for €1 and the tourist bus back for €1.20. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was great, pretty much everything you could ask for. The dinner for €20 per person was good value as it included beer and wine with your dinner. We ate in 2 nights and went into town twice on our 4 night stay. There are plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs around the pool. All in all we had a great short break here.

Gutes Pauschalreisehotel aber ausbaufähig

Das Hotel liegt etwas den Berg hoch über Malcesine, zu Fuß ca. 15-20 Minuten vom Ortskern entfernt, so dass man zumindest auf dem Rückweg lieber den kostenpflichtigen Shuttlebus nimmt. Weiträumige Anlage und schön grün, aber man könnte viel mehr daraus machen. So wirkt sie etwas in die Jahre gekommen und mehr wie ein typisches Pauschalreisehotel. Unsere Garden View Suite war renoviert und sauber aber sehr dunkel und schlauchförmig und hatte leider überhaupt keinen Blick. Das innenliegende Bad konnte man nur durchs Zimmer lüften, mit 4 Personen sehr unpraktisch. Mit kleinen Kindern ok, mit größeren fehlt die Privatsphäre, weil die Kinderbetten keine separate Ecke haben. Zum Schlafen ok, aber länger als nötig wollten wir uns dort nicht aufhalten. Der Speisesaal ist voll und laut und hat den Charme einer Großkantine. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, aber mir wäre weniger und dafür bessere Qualität lieber gewesen. So hat es ein bisschen Massenabfertigungscharakter. Man kann leider nicht draußen essen sondern sitzt hinter Tüllgardinen. Der Kaffee ist aus dem Automaten und schmeckt nach Pulver. Die Pools waren selbst im Juli ziemlich kalt. Es gab ausreichend Liegen aus Plastik. Überhaupt ist hier viel aus Plastik. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, WLAN ist umsonst und der Innenpool ist neu und warm. Also insgesamt ok, aber etwas zu sehr Pauschaltouristen-Stil für unseren Geschmack.
