Very nice studio next to the beach

The studio was nice and just 2 minutes walking to the beach and restaurants area. Joanna was very kind and willing to help, we stayed two nights and the room was cleaned every day. Unfortunately there are too many mosquitos, so they should provide some mosquitos repellent plug in. (We bought the spray but it did nothing) Secondly the wi-fi didn’t work for the two days, but this was not the owner’s fault as she tried to reset the modem but it was broken.

Simple, extremely convenient no frills hotel

We were looking for a simple, clean, convenient, no frills accommodation. Joanna matches that exactly. The hotel is perfect for those who want very quick beach access (and in the centre of things) but need a bit of peace and quiet. It was an extremely successful experience. If you want a lavish hotel experience this is not for you. But if all you want is a clean and well fitted one, it definitely is!

Gute Unterkünfte in Strandnähe!

Die Unterkünfte sind Maisonettwohnungen mit getrennten Betten über die Holzleiter zu erreichen. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt von der Besitzerin selbst. Der Strand ist fast nur von zu vermieteten Sonnenschirmen und Liegen besetzt. Aber Agia Pelagia ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkundigen. Nah an Heraklion und Rethymnon und Inselinnerem. Mit der Ausfahrt muss man aber etwas aufpassen, aus Heraklion kommend biegen die meisten links ordnungswidrig in die Ausfahrt ein, aber sonst müsste man etwas länger fahren um nach Agia Pelagia runterfahren zu können. Busverbindung nach Heraklion gibt es. Um nach Rethymnon mit dem Bus zu fahren muss man vom Ortsausgang den Bus nehmen, ist einiges entfernt vom Dorf und liegt weiter oben! Auto kann man vor der Absperrung zum Kerneingang des Ortes stehen lassen, es gibt einen Parkplatz (3 €/täglich). Wir haben es einfach am Straßenrand abgestellt. Keinen Strafzettel gekriegt.

Grazioso appartamento a due passi dal mare

Soggiornato a luglio 2016 con moglie e figlia di 5 anni . Siamo stati ospitati nell'appartamento n°6. L'appartamentino è su due livelli . al piano terra: piccolo soggiorno con divanetto che all'occorrenza diventa letto singolo. Cucinetta minimale , bagnetto con doccia. porta che dà su una piccolissima veranda attrezzata con un tavolino , tre sedie e uno stendino. La nostra camera dava su un lato che confina a poco più di un metro con un muro , l'atro lato da sulla stradina interna che porta all'ingresso del complesso. Tutto sommato meglio il muro , ombreggiato al mattino per fare colazione e più privacy, il corridoio esterno porta al giardino davanti all'ingresso. Al piano superiore , soppalcato , ci sono un letto matrimoniale e un letto singolo , armadio con cassetta di sicurezza. L'appartamento è dotato di mini tv al piano inferiore ( 8 canali ,tutti grechi ... ) e di condizionatore ( molto apprezzato ). Il wifi ha funzonato benissimo il primo giorno , così così il secondo e per nulla dal terzo giorno . Per arrivare agli appartamenti dovete andare verso la spiaggia di Agia Pelagia , oltre la zona a traffico limitato ( bisogna superare una sbarra mobile ) arrivare quasi in fondo alla strada e guardare le indicazioni a sinistra. Per arrivare all'appartamento bisogna percorrere un tratto di strada a piedi , circa 150 metri .

Sentirsi "a casa"

L'inizio è stato abbastanza traumatico perché non era disponibile la mia camera, e Joanna voleva sistemarmi in una pensione lì accanto. Ma data la mia insistenza, è riuscita a girare le prenotazioni in modo da darmi l'appartamento che avevo prenotato, e da quel momento tutto è stato molto piacevole! L'appartamento è spazioso e pulito, Joanna gentilissima, c'è un grazioso balconcino dove la sera ci sedevamo a mangiare pistacchi, e un giardinetto ideale per fare colazione e per i bambini (viaggiavo sola con due bambini). Tutto è a portata di mano, davvero due minuti dalla spiaggia, dal supermercato, da bar e taverne. Invece sono piuttosto lontane le località più suggestive dell'isola, se si vuole vedere qualche spiaggia davvero speciale bisogna mettere in preventivo di stare via una notte, noi l'abbiamo fatto e abbiamo visitato Falassarna e Balos. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo di questo appartamento+volo è incredibile. Tutta la gente del posto ci ha riservato un'accoglienza calorosa e famigliare, ci siamo sentiti "a casa"

Prima schoon appartement,, goed ingerichte keuken, incl, airco..Dicht bij het strand, waar ook de supermarkten en restaurants zijn.. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse, heel goedkoop, voor wat er voor aangeboden wordt. Ook goede overnachtingsplek voor vroege vlucht vanaf Heraklion, slechts ruim een half uur met de auto!
