I would definitely return. There was a large family at breakfast which presented a delay to get food items in the small room and use of the toaster and microwave. Next time, I would check the timing for breakfast.

This was such a charming cabin! It was clean, dog friendly and included breakfast, which was homemade and delicious!!! It’s close to some restaurants, coffee shops and the bus to take you to the mountain. Could not have asked for a more memorable stay! 🐻

We stayed for 2 nights in June. Though the property is older (not fancy), we enjoyed our stay. It was a comfortable room with a yummy breakfast and fresh coffee in the morning. The bed was comfy, and the water pressure in the shower was the BEST! The location was convenient and had a rustic feel.

I originally posted a poor review because Expedia notified me I couldn’t get a refund even if the whole town power outage ment I couldn’t go to a restaurant or market for food. Since then, the Silver Maple Inn went out of their way to make sure I got my refund. Stephanie at the front desk made sure that I was reimbursed. I highly recommend a stay here.

We actually never made it to the property. We checked in online and when we started traveling, got an alert about evacuations caused by a wildfire that closed the highway. When we called, the manager rejected our request for a refund. Initially denying there was a road closure, then saying there was an alternate route (that would have added 3 hours to a 2 hour drive) Finally she saw we booked thru Expedia and sent us there. Expedia attempted to contact to resolve. They reported that they spoke with her and she refused. We will specifically avoid this establishment on our future trips through Mammoth.
