Clean room and bathroom. I was only there for sleeping as I arrived late and left early, so I was unable to truly check out the property. It seems to be a multi-unit building and there is no staff on site, at least in the late evening. Checking in was super easy and the room itself was comfortable with a nice sized bed and amenities like a TV and a mini fridge along with coffee machine. Well worth the money and stay!
It was cozy, the towels were plentiful, however the upstairs bathroom was sparse in washcloths.
We’d like to come back with friends. The wash cloth would not keep us from coming back, Eidelwriss was charming and clean as was the surround areas. Loved it!
The Edelweiss Lodge is absolutely beautiful. Myself, my husband and my two girls and dog came to stay for the first time ever being in the town of Mammoth lakes. Theres lots of shops and a grocery store right up the street.. Starbucks is like a mile away which is a must or bring your own coffee. They do have coffee but its not the best. The lodge is so quite and peaceful! I would absolutely love to come back and stay longer because theres so much to do and not enough time for two days. Definitely a must if your looking to get away or enjoy a vacation!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was okay but not great!
This was a nice place but noisy. We could hear our neighbors talking and the people downstairs slammed their door every time they left. The floor was not very clean. We did not get the room that was shown on Hotel.com. There should be a disclaimer or warning that some of the rooms have steep stairs going up to them like ours. Because of the noise - not worth the money we spent on the room.
We had a great stay in one of the studio units. The property is easy to find, parking was super easy, and check-in was hassle-free. The unit itself was small but had everything we needed for our stay. You are within driving distance of the city center, the mountain, and the lakes. Beautiful and quiet property. We would definitely come back!
