No functional, adjustable A/C in the room in the summer time! No very pleasant. Also, one of the staff members in the hot tub area was really rude in the way he demanded everybody to get out. He can benefit from more polite ways to say the same thing.

The room was a little older but we loved all the space. Everything was in good condition. Huge condo with plenty of space for everyone. This condo had 4 beds up in the loft. Then 2 queens in one bedroom and a king in the 2nd bedroom. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious condo accommodates many families

Check in was a little tricky as it was not clear where registration was. Once that was discovered, it was smooth and easy. The parking in the condo area of the hotel is very narrow and limited, and lacked signs of where overflow parking could be. The condo space was very roomy to accommodate six adults and five children. Kitchen is sufficient to cook and get meals done. Bedrooms are doing and nice having full bathrooms everywhere, even if the equipment looks to have served many guests over decades. Lots of stairs in the condo but that help provide the space needed for so many bodies. Wish we could have stayed for another day to appreciate the space.

This property has very interesting rooms. Ours had a king bed downstairs and two twins upstairs—but the bathroom was also upstairs. A little awkward for bathroom visits at night. Yes, furnishings are so so and they could use a carpet and paint upgrade but the lobby was beautiful and the staff very nice and responsive. We would stay here again.

No help whatsoever

I wasn't able to stay due to unforeseen reasons. I booked two nights and on the first night I tried calling, I called both the hotel and hotels.com, no one answered. Yes, I understand there is a 72 hour cancellation, how does that apply when you reserve on Wednesday and on Thursday you are trying to cancel for at least the second day which in this case it was friday. I had no luck, I was charged both nights. Very bad service from the hotel and Mammoth Mountain Inn. Beware they only have a live person answering phones before 6pm....after that you are screwed!

The hotel is super close to the main lodge and has a great hot tub. The amenities there are pretty lack luster there is not even a microwave in the room. It's away from the rest of the town so not much to do at night or food options. Hitting the slopes are super easy. If you go during the off season it can be super affordable. Food in the restaurant is expensive though.
