Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. This place sucks!

This place sucks! If you’re going to rent rooms during a remodel you should reflect that in the price! No way this was worth the $249 I paid to stay here! I’ve never stayed anywhere that was so old, damaged, and smelly! That couch…I’ve seen furniture in better condition on the side of the road! The coffee in the room did not come with the proper filters for the actual maker so that didn’t work. The toilet barely flushed. There are stains everywhere on the carpet! I was afraid to take off my shoes! I am traveling with my dog and had to sign something saying I would have to pay $350 cleaning fee if she soiled the carpet. What?! The condition of ALL the carpet..how could you even tell or have the nerve to charge for damage to that? WiFi did not work either! The breakfast was mediocre at best with NO COFFEE at 7 am in the morning! This is not even close to a discount hotel condition! I Don’t need much when traveling just basic amenities and cleanliness which this hovel did not have! Missing tiles and uneven floors throughout the property. Also missing ceiling tiles in hallways

Shilo is conveniently located and the staff are terrific! The property is undergoing a complete renovation and we look forward to returning to see the result. In the meantime, stay as warm, friendly and helpful as you are!

Propery has been under renovation and pr new ownership for the past year. Pool has been closed, driveway is busted up and rough, bathroom has drywall patching, and the place is in desperate need of renovation asap.
